"Trying to Please Everyone"
Housekeeping is good. On the independent side where we are now, they’re changing things up. Instead of a fixed package, they’re going for an a la carte approach. That means housekeeping, meals, and other stuff get added to the rent. So far, activities don’t cost extra, which makes sense. Based on our experience, I’d recommend it. Some folks who’ve been here longer think it was better back in the day, especially the food. We mostly keep to ourselves, so movies and such don’t bother us much. Trying to make cranky old folks happy is quite a challenge.

"Active and Engaging Assisted Living with Community Spirit"
I've lived here for a few years and I really like it. They have lots of activities every day that you can join if you want to. There are also many fitness classes each day, and I try to go to as many as I can. I also enjoy walking around the Ballard neighborhood either with the group or by myself.

"Disappointed Family Experiences Broken Promises at Assisted Living Facility"
We were so pumped about moving our Mom into the Ballard Landmark! But it was different from what our pals told us. Our Mom started living there in but by things weren't great. They charged her but she didn't get the services she was supposed to because of a mix-up among the staff. They promised to sort it out and give her a refund, but they didn't. The last straw that finally made us decide to move our Mom was when her medicine from Hospice got tossed in a drawer at the front desk and stayed there for a week. I kept checking her mailbox then finally asked the front desk, they had her package the entire time. Nothing but chaos and broken promises seem to be their style now. It's really let us down. It's really sad.

"Great Location and Activities, Needs Some Organizational Improvements"
My mother-in-law really likes this place. At first, we had to be firm because the staff wasn't very organized in setting up her care. It took a bit for them to get everything ready to help her with bathing and laundry. They have lots of activities like exercise groups, bingo, karaoke, and live music. Their services are on an a la carte menu, and housekeeping comes once a week to clean her room. I love this place because it's in a great location near her doctor’s offices, farmers markets, little shops, and restaurants. I would recommend this place to other families.

"Great community with caring staff but lacked needed care options"
We visited this lovely community, and the staff was friendly and caring. We were impressed by the variety of care options they offered, as well as the menu and activities. It seemed like a great place for us to move into. However, they didn’t provide the specific type of care we needed. Families should consider touring this community for their loved ones' care.

"Pleasant Staff and Location, Not the Right Fit"
I got to check out this spot and it’s pretty cool. It’s in a great spot close to shops and has a sweet view. The people working there are super nice and look like they really care. But in the end, it just wasn’t the right place for us.
