"Friendly Staff and Good Food"
The staff is friendly, and they try to solve problems. Housekeeping works hard, but their English isn't great. Communication is okay—I'm mostly informed. I visit weekly for lunch with my wife and other residents; the food is pretty good. Move-in was surprisingly easy. I recommend this facility; my wife is happy.

"Affordable, Friendly Assisted Living with a Fresh Atmosphere"
I'd definitely choose this place again without any regrets. My loved one feels safe and relieved here. The staff and residents are friendly, and the facility looks clean and fresh. It's in a good location, and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend Bay Pointe Retirement and Marine Courte, especially for the price point.

"Friendly staff, clean facility, well-cared-for residents—recommend it"
My family member has lived at Bay Pointe for 2 months, and I visit weekly. The staff is very friendly and helpful, treating everyone well. The place is clean and the residents seem happy and well cared for. They always answer my questions quickly. I recommend this facility.

"Considering a Different Facility: Broken Promises and Negligent Care"
My family member stays here. They promised things, but didn't deliver. The care is lacking, and we wait a long time. The nurse doesn't do much and isn't careful. My family member likes the activities and the nice staff, but struggles with the administration. We might look for a new place. This one isn't right and doesn't match what they said.

"Still Tweaking Care at Bay Pointe"
We chose Bay Pointe because they had a two-year social security spend-down option. The room layout was great and matched what my dad wanted. Our move-in experience was fine, but we're still ironing out a few issues with the care.

"Nice staff and facility, but older building"
We had a great tour at Bay Pointe. The staff and facility were really nice, but the building was older and not as modern or open as other places we checked out.

"Great staff and location, but room availability and cost were issues"
We visited Bay Pointe and were really impressed. The staff seemed very close-knit, and we got several follow-up calls from the recruiter. Even though the building was older, it was still very nice. The cost was a bit high for our budget, but the director offered to help find a solution if we decided to choose Bay Pointe. The location was great for us, and we really wished we could have chosen Bay Pointe. However, we ended up picking another place because Bay Pointe didn’t have the right room available.

"Nice place, but sales lady talked too much"
Our family had an in-person tour. The communication was good, and the place had a nice atmosphere. But the sales lady talked way too much.

"Good for mobile residents; lacks help for those needing more"
Bay Pointe is a great place for people who can move around on their own. However, it’s not ideal for those who need a lot of help. The caregivers are friendly, but they’re not very patient when a resident's needs increase. The staff isn’t trained to assist people who can’t move by themselves. Sometimes, they left my mom alone on the toilet for 45 minutes. They promised to provide help from two people but didn’t always do so. They are very short-staffed and lack the skills they promise.
