"Great care, but room needs hospital bed; not a perfect fit"
'[Name removed] is really caring and seems perfect for this job. The room is a decent size, but it's empty, so I’d need to get a hospital bed. It doesn’t seem like the best fit for my friend.' Headline:

"Costly Facility with Limited Space and Cluttered Patio"
During my visit to this assisted living place, I felt something was off. The place was quite small, more like a house than a community. Walking around was tough because the sidewalks were too thin, and parking was confusing since it’s just a house driveway. The cost was $5,000 a month, which is way more than we can spend. Even though there was a big patio, it was full of piled-up stuff. It seemed like a lot of money was being spent, but not on making the community better.

"Overpriced Facility Not Quite Worth Investing Into"
Upon my visit to this community, I was met with a sense of discomfort. It's a smaller facility modeled after a traditional home. Unfortunately, the sidewalk was quite narrow and the parking - due to the home-like design - was pretty confusing. The cost of $5,000 a month was simply too much for our budget. The place is compact, but they do have a large patio. But, it was—quite disappointingly—filled with clutter. It came off as though the money we would be investing wasn't exactly flowing back into the community's improvement.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
When my mom and I checked out this place for my dad, we thought it was really good. It was super clean and tidy. The people who worked there were friendly and told us a lot of useful stuff. But the cost they told us on the phone was different from what they said when we went there in person. It was higher. I felt like if I had talked about it more, they might have tried to meet us halfway.

"Outstanding care, like family, with fresh meals and activities."
The community is amazing. The staff is caring and attentive. Meals are fresh, made to order, and excellent. They offer many activities. It feels like family care in a home-like setting with a few residents. The staff is more than caring—they feel like family. We highly recommend this community for its great care and value.

"Great Care and Comfortable Living at Best Care Manor"
My 92-year-old dad used to live on his own in a subsidized, independent apartment. He started having more frequent episodes of weakness and confusion, which made us worry about his safety living alone. We reached out for help online from A Place for Mom and quickly received several referrals for adult family homes in our area. We visited a few places and were impressed with Best Care Manor. Carolyn and Ben, the caregivers and owners, welcomed us warmly. We liked the home's cleanliness, layout, location, and amenities. We took our dad on a second visit so he could meet the caregivers (who live upstairs) and other residents. Although he was hesitant to leave his independent living, he realized he needed more 24-hour care. He now has a private bedroom and shares meals with other residents. The other residents are alert and interact with him. He goes for walks to the mall and can have visitors or go out whenever he wants. His bedroom is cleaned regularly, and the staff takes care of his laundry. He gets three meals a day, drinks plenty of water, and takes his medications daily. Even though it's more expensive than his previous subsidized housing, the cost at Best Care Manor is similar to other 24-hour adult family homes. I highly recommend this place.

"Great Care and Comfort at Best Care Manor for Seniors"
My 92-year-old dad lived alone in a subsidized apartment, but he started having more problems with weakness and confusion, which made us worried about his safety. We reached out for help online through "A Place for Mom" and quickly got some recommendations for adult family homes nearby. We checked out a few places and were impressed by Best Care Manor. Carolyn and Ben, the caregivers and owners, welcomed us warmly, and we liked the home's cleanliness, layout, location, and amenities. We brought Dad back for a second visit so he could meet the caregivers (who live upstairs) and other residents. Although he was hesitant to leave his independent living situation, he understood he needed more care. He now has a nice, private bedroom and enjoys meals with the other residents. They are active and engage with him, and he goes on outings to shopping malls. He can have visitors or go out whenever he wants. His room is cleaned regularly, and the staff takes care of his laundry. He gets three meals a day, drinks lots of water, and takes his medications as needed. Even though it’s pricier than his old apartment, the cost at Best Care Manor is similar to other 24-hour adult family homes. I highly recommend this place.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My client didn't quite fit in. The facility lacks enough grab bars and tub accessibility with assistance. It made me realize how well-cared-for my client is by his caregiver. Cleanliness, activities, nutrition, and personal care are excellent. Owner Carolyn and a friendly resident made me feel welcome. My client might be a little high maintenance.

"Kind yet Critical Review of Assisted Living Facility"
My patient may struggle here. The building doesn't offer enough handrails, and it would be tough for them to bathe without extra help. Things like cleanliness, activities, personal care, and the food are okay to fantastic. Carolyn, the owner, and a resident were super nice to me which felt good. However, my patient might be a bit too needy for this place. I'm happy I got a chance to look at the facility and ask important questions still.

"Needs Improvement: Assisted Living with Limited Care!"
The facility is messy and dirty, not ideal for those in wheelchairs. Caregivers frequently stay upstairs, leaving the patients downstairs unattended. Snack options are quite limited. They're not quick at completing and returning weekly tasks for the residents.
