"Poorly Managed Assisted Living: Untrained Staff, Filthy Conditions, Theft Concerns"
This place gets a big fat zero from me. The managers are terrible and the staff don’t know what they’re doing. My mom fell at least six times in just a few months! The people in charge of memory care were young and clueless, promised mentoring but didn’t get it. My mom's room was always dirty and sticky, so we had to clean it ourselves. And to top it off, our mop got stolen! The medicine station was left open and unattended, anyone could have taken something.

"A Safe and Caring Community"
Bonaventure of East Wenatchee is a lovely place. It keeps the residents safe and has caring staff. There’s a real sense of community among the people living there.

"New community with helpful staff, convenient location, and good layout"
The community was new and the staff were really helpful. We did virtual tours, and [name removed] liked the layout of [removed] apartment better. It was closer to where both my daughter-in-law and I live, so it was a good spot in between.

"More Staff Needed for Better Care and Freedom"
My family member was in memory care. They could use more staff so that each person gets more attention. My loved one had hardly any freedom, which made them feel like they were in prison. They should be able to access food, water, and their room whenever they want. It’s not right to be locked out of their room or have restricted access to water and personal space.

"Better Rooms and Loved Ones' Choice"
The housekeeping and communication with medication could be improved. We chose this community because of the spacious rooms and our loved one's decision to move there.

"Nice Rooms but No Medicaid Spend Down Option"
The rooms at Bonaventure are really nice and the place looks impressive. However, I didn't notice many people around, and they don’t have a Medicaid spend down option, so it wouldn’t be affordable for our family in the long run.

"Great Place with Friendly Staff, Minor Issues with Laundry Service"
I think this is a really good place. My loved one is happy and active here. They do charge for things like laundry, which is okay, but sometimes it’s not done on time and she runs out of clothes. It’s not a huge deal, but I wish they were a bit more reliable with that. The staff is very friendly and they listen to me when I have concerns and fix them. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

"Underwhelming Care and Poor Management at Assisted Living Facility"
I certainly would not endorse this assisted living facility to anyone else. We finally decided to relocate my dad after his 3-year stay here. Although the general care is passable, the management is simply horrendous. The administration consistently appears clueless, failing to communicate among themselves and with family members. The overall demeanour of the management personnel is brusque and uncooperative. The living conditions my dad endured are unimaginable - and what's worse, the staff didn't seem bothered by it. Alerts were not raised to us, as a family, for support or to address issues. On first glance, the facility offers appealing features and maintains an attractive outward appearance. However, once you stay longer than just a visit, you begin to see its true colors. It's far from an ideal place for loved ones.

"Terrible management and living conditions make it not recommendable."
I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone at all. After a 3-year stay, we've finally moved my dad out. The care provided is decent, but the management is terrible. They are often clueless about what's happening, they fail to communicate amongst themselves and with the family. The managers are not just impolite, but also not supportive. The living condition that my dad had to endure are horrific and the staff seems fine with it. They don't share these issues with the family nor do they address it. While the facility does provide some nice amenities and looks good from the outside, once you stay there for more than just visiting, it doesn't feel like a lovely home for your loved ones.

"Avoid this poorly staffed facility with neglectful, uncaring practices"
Assisted living at this facility is completely unsatisfactory. I informed them my mom was moving to a different place, but they unceremoniously made her leave…on her own birthday! On retrieving her belongings, I discovered they hadn't even cleaned her dirty clothes and discarded the medications I had paid for! Once, the staff insisted that my mom shower when she didn't want to, and my mom ended up biting them. There's a high dropout rate among the staff, which makes me think they don't hire well-trained assistants. This could explain why the forced showering incident happened. Additionally, my mom's private room toilet was broken when she first moved in. This resulted in her having to remove solid waste manually and hide it in her room. After complaining for ages, they finally sorted out the situation. I wouldn't recommend this residency to anyone.

"Warm, Thriving Home at Bonaventure!"
Bonaventure is a happy place with friendly people and beautiful surroundings. They helped me find a new home for my Mom, and she’s thrilled. Even when she had a fall before moving in, they were wonderful in making her home warm and comfortable. She loves it!

"A Happy and Caring Place to Live!"
Bonaventure is such a happy place. The surroundings are lovely, the people are friendly, and they helped me so much in finding my Mom her new home. She is thrilled, and I’m even thinking about making a reservation for myself in the future! Mom had a bad fall about 10 days before she was supposed to move in, and they were absolutely wonderful about helping me with anything I needed to make her new home warm and comfortable. She loves it!

"Fair Cost and Caring Staff"
My dad has been here for just a month, so we’re still getting used to things. But so far, it’s similar to the other places we visited. The cost is fair, and the staff appears friendly and truly cares about the residents.

"Great Food and Activities, but Phone Service Issues"
We had a problem with the phone service, and it took a month to fix, which was really frustrating. The meals are good; they have daily specials and a regular menu you can choose from if you don’t want the specials. They also offer a lot of activities, even though my mother-in-law can’t join in.

"Amazing help during a tough move—highly recommend!"
The team at this facility was incredibly helpful. My mom’s situation was an emergency, and they knew I was struggling financially since I had just moved from out of state. They even offered to handle her move for me, and they did an amazing job! Despite the four-hour drive, they made my mom feel right at home. Becci, the marketing manager, was fantastic—very caring and concerned, which made the whole experience much better for me.

"Best place we visited, friendly staff, good food, clean"
It was a great place and very pleasant. It was the best of all the places we visited. The people were wonderful and friendly. The food was good, and everything was clean. I wish we could have stayed longer. The prices were similar to those in the Seattle area.
