"Inconsistent care, lacking attention to individual needs."
Mom stayed over two years; care lacked individual attention and essentials.

"Hit-or-Miss Management at Brookdale Federal Way"
My family member lived at Brookdale Federal Way for nearly a year. The staff was super friendly, but the management dropped the ball on follow-through. I wouldn't suggest it for someone who needs frequent check-ins.

"Friendly staff, dated facility; Aunt well-treated."
Staff are friendly, though the facility needs updates. Aunt's well-treated.

"Wonderful care and supportive staff at Brookdale Federal Way"
Brookdale Federal Way is a great place. I'm very thankful for the help they gave my mother. The staff is caring and goes out of their way to assist people. It’s a tough job, but they have some amazing caretakers.

"Review: Brookdale Assisted Living, a Depressing Display of Greed and Disregard"
I'm completely let down by this facility. I had dealings with Brookdale around two and a half years ago, and I'm currently searching for a suitable place for my Dad. This is unquestionably the last place you'd want to consider. Their sales approach is extremely aggressive. Especially when you're already stressed about finding a place for your loved one. This organization seems solely focused on sales. Their CEO earns 50 million dollars a year. Even his front door costs more than an entire stay at Brookdale, which is just appalling. The struggle to get my sister-in-law admitted here was just not worth it. She was at a rehabilitation center and was planning on transferring to Brookdale once cleared. Despite the high sales pressure and so-called price deals, it didn't happen. My sister-in-law passed away before she could move. After $7900, we got no refund, well except for $660, which is a pathetic gesture considering she never even stepped foot in the place or consumed their meals. Their level of compassion is virtually nonexistent. It's clear that 50 million dollars is just not enough for them, they are driven by greed. Ironically, I had already paid for cable installation in the room they assigned, which seemed to have been a model or storeroom. It was a horrible experience. The CEO should feel ashamed of how he's running this health care facility, profiting off people's suffering for trivial things, such as a new doorknob. Your company is awful, and it seems like you don't care at all. I could do a much better job even for only a fraction of what you earn. Hope your whole team is pleased with themselves, because they are far from good at their jobs. Congratulations, Mr. CEO, you've succeeded in taking advantage of another individual and their family. All the while, your main concern remains your stock price, not the well-being of the people in your care. It might just be a review, but since no one at Brookdale seems to give a fig, I hope at least you can afford a new doorknob. I'll make sure to tell as many people as possible about your institution. If I can discourage even one person from using your services, I'd consider it a win. I wish nothing positive for you and your kin.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
I'm really unhappy with this place. If it were my choice, I wouldn't have picked it for my mom. She's not happy here either, and she's not eating much, so she's lost a lot of weight. Mom doesn't like being around lots of people, so she eats alone in her room, but they charge an extra $5.00 for that. She's also not taking her medicine properly because they're not checking on her health regularly, and she has dementia, which makes it even harder. Since I'm not legally in charge of her medical decisions, they won't tell me much when I ask. And it seems like they don't do many activities with the residents either.

" Brookdale Federal Way Unsuitable for Progressive Dementia Patients "
Brookdale in Federal Way is not a fitting place for my mom, who suffers from dementia. Even though Brookdale offers special care services for dementia patients, these services do not extend to their Federal Way facility. I was informed by a supervisor that as my mom's dementia progressively worsens, they will not be able to accommodate her. Why have her settle in, only to move her when her condition deteriorates? I believed that a professional care facility like this would prioritize finding the most suitable environment for its residents. I am working hard to find the ideal living situation for my mom where, the risk of her wandering out of the front door and going missing - a common risk with dementia patients - is not a concern. Moreover, there is no security measure like an alarm system on the main door, an oversight on their part in this regard.

"Great care and communication make this facility stand out!"
My mom recently moved into this community, and everything is going well for her. She settled in easily and feels comfortable in her new home. She hasn’t complained about the food and likes the activities when she joins in. What I like most about the facility is how the staff are quick to respond and keep in touch with our family.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Atmosphere and Service"
We didn't like this place when we visited. The outside looked messy. The people living there seemed sad, and it didn't seem lively. The workers we met didn't seem very good at their jobs.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Food and Management"
My family member stays here. The food's gotten worse since she came. The review saying management's bad is right. They make promises but rarely keep them. They pretend to listen to residents but don't really.

"Low Staff Count and Dishonest Management at Assisted Living Facility"
The staff here is helpful and cordial, but there just aren't enough of them to adequately look after all the residents. The people in charge are terrible. They tell lies, and are not honest. I strongly suggest you should not place a family member in this facility. Consider yourself cautioned. Believe me, you'll regret it.
