"Great Care at Brookdale Fisher's Landing, Even in Hospice"
My loved one lives at Brookdale Fisher's Landing, and it’s been a great experience. Now that they’re on hospice, everything is going well.

"Dishonest Sales Pitch and Always Short Staffed"
The guy selling this place will just tell you anything to make you want to move in. They don't give you any sort of papers or any info until AFTER you've moved in. Then, they keep lying and make you pay even more money. They don't have enough staff but that doesn't seem to be new because I've seen reviews from way back in 2015 mentioning it.

"Insufficient care, long wait times; overall disappointing experience."
"This place doesn't take care of you. They don't have enough people to help. When you press the button for help, it takes forever, like 30 to 45 minutes. To be honest, there's just too much bad stuff. I could keep talking about it."

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Amenities"
This place needs better attention to residents. When you ring for help, sometimes it takes too long for someone to show up. They come in, turn off the call button, then leave without helping. Especially on weekends, there aren't enough caregivers, and they often leave quickly. The staff changes a lot, and the people in charge don't always respond quickly. They said they'd have a beauty shop, but it's still not open after more than a year. They also increased prices a lot this past year. The food is just okay; the meat is tough, the vegetables aren't cooked right, and the fruit isn't ripe. Overall, it's just average if you're keeping a close eye on your loved one's care.

"Welcoming, informative care for families."
They provided helpful information during our decision-making process. We felt welcome to ask questions and would recommend them to other families.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Compassion"
I felt sad when I found out it's all about money instead of caring for people. A family member got hurt and couldn't come back for safety reasons. They told us to take her things right away because they wouldn't get paid since they didn't care for her that month. Some staff were rude and hurtful, and they didn't seem to care about how she was doing in the hospital.

"Great Care and Quick Responses at a Good Price"
I’ve noticed that if you have a concern, they respond quickly and fix it. That’s been really good. They are short-staffed, which is a worry, but they are working on it. Overall, I feel they take great care of your family member. They do a good job with activities. And it’s a good value for the price.”

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short; Limited Assistance, Active Community"
My family member didn't quite fit in here. We gave it a shot, but they needed more help, so we moved them to a place that could offer that. The staff were really nice and did their best to assist. There were plenty of activities, and everyone seemed to enjoy them. However, considering the price, we expected a bit more. They were dealing with COVID and still tried to support my loved one.

"Friendly Staff and Comfortable Environment"
Because of COVID rules, the meals can be hit or miss, and sometimes residents have to eat in their rooms. But the staff has been super friendly from the start and still stands out. They made us feel welcome right away and made our loved one feel comfortable.”

"Assisted Living Strives Amid Covid Restrictions"
We talked to the director about the new kitchen manager and upcoming changes, although we haven’t seen them yet. We also clarified roles for our loved one. Despite Covid restrictions, they make an effort with activities and resident needs.

"Mixed Feelings About Average Assisted Living Facility"
This place was like most other assisted living spots. Rooms were big and staff nice, but nothing made it special. Actually, I didn't leave thinking it was great. What bothered me was the stairs needing a vacuum. I mean, it was a planned tour, so I thought it would be cleaner.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Minor Food Issue"
I appreciate their creativity and the friendly, peaceful atmosphere. The food could be better, but they’re addressing the timing issue. Overall, it’s been pretty good.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living: Friendly Staff, Poor Food Service"
The people who work there are nice, and my mom really likes them. But they switched the food service, and my mom says the food isn't good, and it takes a long time to get it. Also, they keep changing how much we have to pay for rent each month, which I don't get. After moving in, it seems like the people in charge forget about you, but the regular workers are awesome.
