"Good place with recent issues: water pipes, norovirus, weekends"
Overall, this is a good place but there have been some problems lately. Some water pipes broke and residents had to move. There was also a norovirus outbreak. There's no care staff on weekends.

"Care Falls Short at Assisted Living Facility"
My dad's care got better, but we're paying more without getting the care promised in the plan. They're not trained for Alzheimer's or dementia, even though they said they could handle it. It's been a tough 5 months.

"Great food and lots of activities with helpful staff"
The food is really good here. The staff works hard to make the residents happy. There are many fun activities to join in, and they also offer lots of trips to stores, doctors, and nice places to see.

"Great tour, friendly staff, clean and spacious facility"
I had a great tour at Brookdale Mill Creek for my mom. The place was clean, bright, and had lots of space. I really liked the activity areas. The staff was friendly, paid attention, and knew everyone’s name during our tour. The suites were nice, though some could use updates. I plan to bring my mom back this week.

"Mom loved living here."
My mom lived here for 7 years and really liked it. The staff was wonderful and they loved my mom, who had a very outgoing personality. The place was always kept clean. The food was hit or miss, but she loved all the daily activities and stayed busy. I would recommend this community to others.

"Great care and support, but long hallways"
I loved it. [Name] made me feel comfortable and helped me understand the care mom needed. It gave me a new perspective. I was really stressed, but he answered all my questions. There's a pool here that mom loves, but no attendant. The hallways were too long for mom.

"Nice Area, Friendly Staff, But Lacking Activity"
We looked at a few places and this one was in a nice area. The price fit our budget. However, we thought the place wasn’t as lively as some of the others and we wanted mom to stay active. The food we tried on the tour was very bland, but they had homemade seasoning on the tables you could add if you wanted. The staff we met were very friendly and nice.

"My Tour: Clean, Affordable, and Friendly!"
This place looked really clean and pleasant during our visit. Although they don't take Medicaid, they do have affordable rooms for residents with low income. The staff we met were friendly, and overall, I enjoyed my tour of this community.

"Dad's Well-Cared-for and Happy in This Clean Community"
I'm glad my father is in a place where people care about him. The staff is really good at helping with what he needs. Sometimes he doesn’t like the meals, but there are plenty of fun activities for him. The place is always clean, and I think other families would be happy with the care and the overall value here.

"Drastic drop in care and quality forces people to move"
My bestie had to shift her mom from this place when ownership changed. The care level and quality really tanked. Not just her, others are moving too because of this.

"Subpar Care and Management at Facility"
Our time here at this facility has been pretty disappointing. They're just not equipped to deliver the care that my mom requires. They say they offer assisted living, but it feels more like a place for independent living. The caretakers here lack experience and aren't up to the task. Also, management leaves a lot to be desired. This place really needs to step it up.

Brookdale Mill Creek is a super nice place! The staff is friendly, and everything is clean and well maintained. My only gripe is the food—it could be better. But overall, we’re happy we discovered it!

"Brookdale is a nice place for Mom with lovely settings."
We really like Brookdale. Recently, a resident said something inappropriate to my Mom, but that's not the staff's fault. It's a lovely place, and the people there are very nice. The grounds are really nice too. It's such a lovely setting. We think it's the right place for Mom to be. The rooms are really nice too.

"Feels like home!"
After checking out several places in Snohomish County, my uncle chose this one. We heard good things, and he loved the "feel" of it. He's been here a few months now and couldn't be happier. I visit him often, as do other family members, and he always talks about how nice everyone is. We can all see how much better he's doing physically and emotionally. He even continues his physical and occupational therapy here, which we didn't find at other places. My parents toured here last week and it looks like they'll be joining my uncle soon. They liked the feel too and said the staff was very friendly and informative. I live just a couple miles away, so this is great news for me!

"Negligence and Lack of Professionalism at Assisted Living Facility"
I genuinely wish that nobody else has to endure the terrible ordeal we did. My loved one falling out of bed on the first night due to the caregiver's neglect of providing a safety cord was merely the start. It took only a week for us to decide to leave that place!

"Great Staff; Improve New Resident Orientation"
The residents here are happy and friendly, and the food is really good. There are lots of activities that many residents join in. The only thing I think could be improved is the orientation and intake process for new residents. My mother moved in from out of state and hadn’t seen the facility before moving day. They didn’t give her a tour, and the orientation happened later. For a few days, she felt lost because she didn’t know where anything was. But once she had a meeting with the staff, they were very kind, and she has since settled in and is happy.

"She loves it here!"
I have no complaints about Brookdale Mill Creek. Any issues we've had were fixed quickly. For example, her shower-head was broken when she moved in, but they replaced it the same day. They should have noticed it before she moved in, but I'm glad they fixed it fast. The food here is amazing, and the dining service is great. The staff is lovely, and it's nice to see them interact with the residents. She couldn't be happier here!

"Nice staff and food, not enough for active seniors."
The people who work at Brookdale Mill Creek are really nice. They're friendly and supportive. The only thing is, I'm not sure if my dad fits in there. Most of the folks I've seen are either physically or mentally challenged. My dad's 94, but he's still in great shape for his age. There's not much for him to do there; they don't have many activities. Apart from that, the food is really good, and everyone is friendly. Overall, it's a pretty good place."

"Overall, things are going well."
Overall, things are going well. It's tough getting her to join activities, and I often have to ask them to knock on her door or wake her up to join in. I wish there was a bit more housekeeping, but they do it once a week unless you pay for more. The food is okay; I would like it to be a bit better, but I think it's nutritious, even if it's not always satisfying.

"Friendly Community with Great Amenities"
My parents moved into Emeritus Mill Creek about a month ago. My mom loves how friendly everyone is and how they were quickly invited to join the Bridge group, which they both enjoy. They also appreciate that the dining room is open from 7am to 7pm and that shopping is so close my mom likes walking to the library and Mill Creek Town Center. Their apartment has a beautiful view of the courtyard and fountain, which they really like.

"Great Living Facility, Though Some Areas Need Improvement"
Overall, I've found this assisted living facility quite decent so far. My mom hasn't fully settled into the around-the-clock activities yet. Nevertheless, she eagerly welcomed the available swimming pool. The meals are mostly enjoyable with a wide-ranging menu available throughout the day. She also has the liberty to make a sandwich in room with the readily available fridge and stove - a luxury not found in many other places. The primary issue has been the apartment's lighting. It's a little bit on the dim side due to its insufficient ceiling lights, and there's only one switch that controls the lamps. We had addressed this concern to the maintenance staff, but nothing has been done about it a month in. Additionally, I noticed that they had undertaken to replace the carpet before her arrival but that didn't happen. They had cleaned it up but the stain remains visible. When we initially walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by the level of active lifestyles and the provision of covered parking. So, all things considered, the people here are really friendly and it is a pretty enjoyable place to be.

"Great time, feels like home, and very friendly people"
I had a great time, and the place feels just like home. The lunch and tour were really enjoyable. The resident we ate with was delightful, and everyone else was very friendly. This place is tied with Chateau Bothell Landing as the best we've seen so far.

"Undecided between two assisted living options pleasant tour experience."
I liked the tour and the boss was really nice! But now I'm not sure if I want the place with the pool and more stuff to do or the smaller one called Id Culver. I called the boss lady to talk about it, maybe we can go back there quickly. Also, I've arranged a possible visit for my mom. Right now, I'm trying to choose between these two places.
