"Elevator Woes at Koelsch Assisted Living"
The staff is great, and the director does what he can. But the elevator in the chateau has broken down five times this year. It needs replacing. Koelsch seems more focused on new facilities than maintaining the existing ones. It’s very frustrating when you can’t reach a doctor appointment because the elevator isn’t working. The stairs aren’t an option for seniors with walkers. Quite a sad situation.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
Our overall experience has been pretty good, about 4 stars. We haven't used the nursing care because it starts at a high cost per month for each person, and they couldn't promise showering in the evening. So, I handle their medication setup and help with bathing. The price seemed a bit high for what they offer! The food has been a consistent issue. It's usually cold or not very good. However, my parents are generally happy living there. Recently, my dad had a small stroke, and the staff responded quickly and appropriately. We were fortunate to be with him when it happened. The bus service is excellent, and the drivers are very friendly. The apartment is wonderful and well set up for someone in a wheelchair.

"Mixed Experience at Canterbury Inn"
Canterbury Inn was nice, and the staff were friendly. But they said my Dad needed more care than they could provide. Oddly, they never met him in person—just looked at his records. So, not my choice; they declined.

"It fell short."
The assisted living community didn't quite match my top choice.

"Budget Concerns and Medicaid Barriers in Assisted Living Decision"
The cost was a bit too high for us, and they don't accept Medicaid payments. We'd rather avoid Longview unless absolutely necessary.

"Unpleasant Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Don't ever choose this place for your family member...it seems friendly and caring...until the moment you opt not to use their services. Suddenly, they become the meanest people you could ever encounter. They have a terrible administration that lets their workers make ridiculous accusations without even knowing who the resident is...how can they present a good image if their staff looks like they're homeless? We regret even letting our loved one stay there for one day.

"Mixed Review"
Beautiful facility with friendly staff, but food and medication issues persist.
