"Caring Hands: Loving Dementia Care"
Our mom spent her last 9 months at Caring Hands home. She had late-stage dementia, which worsened due to medical issues. Although we wanted her with us, she needed 24-hour care we couldn't provide. With help from 'A Place for Mom,' we narrowed it down to a 58-bed facility or Caring Hands. We're glad we chose Caring Hands—they specialize in dementia care and treated Mom with love, dignity, and patience.

"Good care with some issues, staff worked hard to please"
This is a good place for long-term care. A family member moved from the hospital to this assisted living facility because he needed more help. He got better during his two weeks there, but once he was on the mend, he wanted to move to a place where he could be more independent. He felt that the other residents were too old or bedridden, so he didn’t have much chance to socialize. His personality tends to find faults with every place he tries, including the hospital, so it wasn’t surprising when he left suddenly. The staff at this facility made a real effort to make him comfortable. He did have some issues with one caregiver, but it’s hard to take all his complaints seriously. The manager was around a lot and wanted to hear about any specific issues he had.
