"Great Staff, but AFH Better for My Sister"
The directors were amazing in helping my sister get placed in their facility. Communication with them was excellent, and they both went above and beyond to provide a great experience. I give them both a 5! The facility is nice and accommodating, but now that my sister is in an Adult Family Home (AFH), I wouldn't choose assisted living again. The small setting and hands-on care with 1-2 caregivers in the AFH are much better for my disabled sister.

"Concerns Raised Over Poor Food Quality and Insufficient Assistance"
My family members live at this location. Quite a few of the folks that stay here got sick from the food recently. Most of the time, this is the only place they get meals from. It's really worrisome. They're not getting the help they need.

"Great Staff and Community, Even in an Emergency"
We could have avoided some stress if we had started earlier. We knew Mom needed to move, but we waited until it was an emergency. However, the community and staff were great. We got to meet everyone on their team, which was really nice.

"Great Virtual Tour, but Chose Different Place for Size and Price"
The tour with the staff was awesome. Even though it was virtual, we still felt like we had a great experience. We liked that there were different dining options, including a small, quiet area and the regular dining room. They also had storage areas for residents. We chose a different place mainly because of the room sizes and the price.

"Disappointing Dining Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The people who run this place are nice and helpful. But, the food needs serious work. The menu hasn't changed for four months. Even though the food used to be good, lately it's been terrible. For example, a baked potato had black, hard skin like glass. Also, coleslaw was forgotten, and when it came, it was just cabbage with no dressing. They said the cake was lemon, but it was banana. My mother's dinner looked awful too; the ham was okay, but her potato was supposed to be mashed, and there were no mashed potatoes that night. The yams on her plate were terrible too. The food is part of the price, but it needs to be way better.

"Great renovations, friendly staff, and clean facilities—highly recommend!"
Cascade Inn has done a great job updating many parts of the place. The staff is friendly, helpful, and the whole facility is clean. Even though my mom has only been there for a few months after living in her own home for 30 years, she seems pretty happy.

"Overpriced Care Facility Misleads and Disappoints"
This place costs too much. The staff there doesn't do a good job helping my mom join in activities. It feels like all they care about is money. They tricked us with wrong information when we decided to move in they said there would be lots of people my mom's age, but it's not true. My mom got a lot more and a lot better attention for much less money at her old place. Sure, Cascade Inn has more activities going on, but if she's not joining them, what's the point? It's not worth the high cost. That's the only good thing about this place, and it's not enough. I can’t wait to find a better place for my mom. And she's not even a senior yet. I know there must be a better option out there.
