"Great care at Cascades; highly recommended assisted living facility"

I recommend Cascades. It's a great place with good care.

"Service and food need improvement, slow wait times noted"

The staff doesn’t give enough attention to residents. The food is just okay. There aren’t enough servers, so it takes a long time to get help.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"

Mostly good, but food and cost need improvement. Consider other places!

"Amazing caregiving staff, needs more snacks and fluid monitoring"

I would definitely recommend the Cascades of Bremerton. The caregiving staff is amazing and always goes above and beyond, but they are overworked. They are like little ninjas who clean and change the bed constantly. They never complain and are always friendly and helpful. My parents adore them. It's rare to have both parents in the same facility at the same time. The move-in process was easy, and I couldn't have done it without the help from them. The chef is amazing with the food. I'd only suggest more snacks available for those who can have them and offer them more often, as some people can't ask or forget they are hungry. The Memory Care facility is "different" because the residents don't remember to ask for things. Hydration is very important and can cause constant infections if not monitored. Watching fluid intake would be a good idea.

"A Homely Oasis with Amenities"

This place feels like home, with spacious apartments and outdoor areas. They offer meals, shuttles, and fun activities.

"Neglect and Disappointment at Cascades of Bremerton"

If you care about your family, think twice before choosing Cascades of Bremerton. Our experience there was a letdown. Shortly after my loved one moved in, they had to rush to the hospital due to neglect. Better care, more staff, and improved communication are urgently needed1.

"Kind staff, clean facilities, free shuttle, and beautiful grounds"

The staff here are very kind and caring. They offer weekly housekeeping and serve lunch and dinner every day. You can find the activity schedule in the elevators to keep track. They also have a free shuttle for doctor visits, shopping, and church. The building is a bit old but very clean. The outdoor areas are pretty and well-kept.

"Great Tour, Active Community, but No Social Security Spend-Down"

We had a great tour at Cascades of Bremerton, especially The Cottage, which is the assisted living part. The community was very active with lots going on. The room size was also great. Out of all the places I toured, this one was the most in-depth, and I learned the most about assisted living. They also helped me understand what questions to ask on other tours and really took their time with me. The only reason we didn't choose this facility was because they didn't have a social security spend-down.

"Helpful and Affordable Assisted Living"

Everyone has been amazing and super helpful to our family. They made a tough transition much easier, taking a load off us. Considering the times, it's a great value for the money.

"Neglect and Poor Care at Assisted Living Facility"

My dad had to leave because they didn't bathe him, didn't give him enough water so he got dried out, just kept giving him medicine all the time, and even let him fall and get an eye infection. The cost was way too high for how bad they took care of him.

"Friendly Staff and Good Value!"

Our family member thinks the people who live here and the staff are super friendly. The price for what you get seems pretty good. The food is usually good, but sometimes it's not hot enough. They offer activities like movies, painting classes, and exercise programs.

"Disrespectful treatment at the Assisted Living Facility"

The person in charge behaved poorly and talked to us as if we didn't have enough money for the place. But money was not the problem. We eventually found a wonderful place where we were treated with decency.

"Not quite what we needed, but nice and friendly staff."

Headline: [[Friendly staff, not quite what we were looking for.]]

"Great Tour and Friendly Staff"

I didn't see anything wrong during my tour. The facility is much bigger and a bit farther from the family. The representative showed us everything and three rooms. I enjoyed the professional and super friendly experience. They even called me after the tour to follow up.

This place is amazing! My Dad is happy, and so is our family. The staff is super nice! I wouldn't mind living there someday, but not just yet.

"Everything seems to be going okay!"

They offer various meals, but not always diabetic-friendly. More variety needed. The community is clean and well-maintained. They provide diverse activities. Staff are friendly and helpful. Communication is good. Additional transportation options needed.

"5 stars for The Willows!"

My cat and I love living at The Willows. The food is great, and there’s a lot to choose from every day. The staff are super nice and always ready to help. There are tons of activities and exercise machines. They also have buses for transportation and even take us to local casinos. I highly recommend this place.

"Mother Enjoys New Activities and Great Meals"

Everything is going great for my mother at this community. She has adjusted really well. They keep everything very clean and nice. The staff is excellent, always helpful and kind. She’s trying new activities and enjoys the meals, which are really good. I would definitely recommend this place.

"Review of Evergreen Assisted Living - Anytown, USA"

She gave an awesome tour and answered all my questions. The place has lots of activities and nice grounds. The staff was helpful, and lunch was very good. I didn't visit the assisted living cottage or memory care. The rooms for residents are well-designed, but there's not a lot of storage space, so you might need a storage unit nearby if you have a lot of stuff. Some rooms face the parking lot and assisted living area, and I wish there were more gardens to look at. Other rooms have a great view of the water just a few blocks away.

"Very Happy with the Facility"

I’m the daughter-in-law, and I’m very happy with the services. They keep everything clean all the time. She moved in May, and she’s a widow. The food is good, and the people are friendly.

"Wonderful Care and Kindness at The Willows"

Everyone at The Willows has been really nice, friendly, and considerate. My mom is slowly getting used to her new apartment and way of living. The staff treat her with gentleness and kindness. They make a real effort to remember her name and use it when talking to her. They do everything they can to make all the residents feel comfortable and happy.

"Six-Star Quality and Happy Residents"

I would give The Willows a six-star rating if I could. I toured many places and did online research, but The Willows stood out. It’s modern, clean, and the staff is super friendly. I chose it because I’d live there myself, and all the residents seemed happy, talkative, and enjoying each other's company.

"Perfect Place for Mom!"

I used to work in two senior living communities in Florida, so I knew exactly what I wanted for my mom. This place is clean and cozy, not too fancy for her. The staff and residents are super friendly and welcoming. There are lots of common areas inside and outside. The apartments are big and cleaned once a week. Lunch and dinner are served in a restaurant-like setting with menus and flexible hours. The front desk is open 24/7, and they have an optional daily check-in system. They provide transportation for shopping, appointments, and day trips. Activities include tai chi, Wii bowling, exercise classes, and casino trips. All this comes at a very reasonable price with a month-to-month contract. No big buy-in fees, just a small community fee for upkeep. My mom signed up right away and is happily settling in. She's shy about meeting new people, but the staff has been great at making her feel comfortable. The Willows is a fantastic place, and we're so lucky to have found it. I highly recommend it!

"I felt very welcomed and warm here"

The Willows Retirement Living is a really nice community. From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed and warm. The staff made me feel right at home, and now this is my home. I would give this place 5 stars, or even 6 if I could! The facility is super clean, and the staff is really friendly. The value is good, and the care services are excellent. They also offer lots of activities for the residents. This place is just great!

""Investigate Before Choosing an Assisted Living Facility""

So my mom's buddy lives there and we thought we might check it out. Sure, the place looked decent but after chatting with her kid, it turned out to be all smoke and mirrors. We dug deeper and found all sorts of hidden expenses they didn't mention. The more we poked around, the more red flags we saw, leaving us with a bitter feel. Noticed people going on about the grub here and we thought, "Great!". But oh man, was it bland when we visited, and my mom, being a foodie, was disappointed. Apart from that, it's not bad really but we passed.

"Everything is great and we're happy."

Everything is great. The place is clean and the staff is nice. We don't have any worries right now. We're happy with them.

"Good Care with Room for Improvement in Communication"

My mom lives here in assisted living. The staff are kind and attentive, and the food is very good. Communication with family can vary—sometimes it’s excellent, other times not so much. They answer any questions you have, though. There are activities available. They helped my mom with a discounted room because of her low income, but they don’t accept Medicaid. Her studio room is small, just 300 sq ft.

"Wonderful Care at Cascades of Bremerton Assisted Living"

My dad loves living at The Cascades of Bremerton. He's happier there than he was with me. They take really good care of him, and I'm happy with everything.

"The Willows: Great staff, food, and value!"

We chose The Willows in Bremerton for my 90-year-old mother. The staff is amazing, always helping the residents and even learning their names. The food is great, just like a restaurant! We checked out many places, but for the price, this one had the best to offer. My mother loves it here.

"Awesome Place for Seniors - Check it Out!"

Cascades is a little older, but they're fixing it up. The people are super nice, and everyone seems really happy. The food is really good, and it doesn't cost much for visitors. The staff is caring, and there's always something happening. Both of my parents love it there - they have a sunny apartment with an amazing view. Our experience has been really good so far!

"Great facility, but out of our price range"

The facility is really nice for assisted living. Unfortunately, it's not in our price range right now, but it's still extremely nice!

"Everything’s Going Well for Me Here!"

I'm really happy here! They have lots of activities. I can't make it to all of them, but I plan to. They also go out to restaurants and places like that. I'm in a powered wheelchair, and it would be nice if they had a bus with a wheelchair lift. I've missed out on some things because of that. The people here have treated me really well and have gone above and beyond. The food is excellent. Overall, it's a great place, and I have no complaints.
