"Clean Community with Rare Medicare Conversion and Good Staff"
This is a clean and nice community for us and your loved one. They offer Medicare conversion, which is rare and was a major reason we chose them. My interactions with the staff have been positive.

"Recommended for Nature-Loving Seniors"
We picked Cedar Ridge because it's tucked away in the woods, and we loved the natural surroundings. The rooms are spacious, with different options to choose from. My loved one started in a studio with a big bathroom and now has a comfortable one-bedroom. The food could be better; it's a bit bland due to dietary restrictions. Overall, I'd recommend it to others.

"Residents Hungry, Toilets Overflow: A Troubling Assisted Living Experience"
I’m leaving this place. They never have enough food. The waitstaff often says they’ve run out or just skip serving requested items. It seems like executive bonuses are tied to cutting the food budget, but residents are still paying for food they don’t get. The toilet has clogged up 14 times in the little over two months I’ve been here. Not good.

"Great staff and well-kept facility; food could be better"
The staff here are great. The place is very nice and well kept. The food could be better and more creative, but I understand it's tough to manage for so many people.

"Cedar Ridge: Deplorable Conditions Hidden Behind Fancy Furnishings!"
I strongly urge you to consider my review carefully, given that my parents were residents at Cedar Ridge for seven years. Having no prior experience with senior living facilities, my family and I were quite naive about our expectations, and largely, this is the reason my folks stayed there for so long. The staff turnover at Cedar Ridge was appalling and greatly affected my parents due to the continual state of disorganization. I can only guess that maintaining good staff was a challenge due to the less than ideal conditions. Cleaning services were utterly lacking, leaving my elderly parents in an unclean apartment, as they were not capable of managing such chores themselves. The higher-ups at Cedar Ridge came across as insincere and superficial. There seemed to be no genuine concern for the residents; rather, their focus was the profit margin. Following my father's passing, there was no effort on their part to console or even check on my grieving mother. When it came to costs, they catered to the affluent and relentlessly increased prices, with no consideration for the paying capability of the residents. Eventually, we transferred my mother to another local senior living facility, saving us over $700 a month. This new location has superior food, unlimited daily snacks like fruit, sweets, drinks, and they're more than happy to cater to requests. They consistently monitor my mother and manage her medications. They clean her room daily, make her bed, change her linens weekly, and take care of her laundry. They ensure that her living area, kitchen, and bathroom are clean and sanitary. They provide engaging activities along with encouragement for residents to join in. The staff is loving and stable, and the management is attentive and understanding of my mother's needs. I would never suggest Cedar Ridge to anyone. Please look beyond the glamourous furnishings and event spaces to the reality that unfolds inside the apartments of these neglected seniors. Our experience was dreadful!

"Mom's Potential Happy Home!"
This might be the right place because my mom knows someone here. It might not be ideal for long-term dementia care, but it's a lovely place! We can imagine her being very happy here.

"Safe, Kind, and Full of Activities"
My mom lives here right now. She feels safe and cozy, and the staff interacts with her very well. Everyone has been really kind to both her and me. They’ve answered any questions I’ve had. Her meal times can be a bit stressful, but they’re working on improving that. She seems to enjoy the food, which has plenty of choices, and the cook does a great job. They offer many activities like games, reading clubs, and chair exercises, with a monthly calendar full of different events. The place is always clean, and housekeeping comes by once a week to vacuum and take out the trash. Overall, Mom is still getting used to it, but it seems like a nice place.

"Welcoming Community for Residents and Their Furry Friends"
We checked out a few places and this one met all our needs. The best part? Dad could bring his cat! They're pet-friendly here, and they even let us set up a little outdoor spot for the kitty. The staff is super nice, and Dad may not join in all the activities, but he enjoys chatting with others during meals. He's a big fan of the food too. Overall, we're really happy with this community.

"Steer Clear of This Uncaring, Money-Grabbing Facility"
If you're an older person, don't go near this place without someone in your family fighting for you. They leave out important things and don't help you understand important papers. When bad things happen, it's all about money. Make sure a lawyer sees all papers before you sign anything. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. We had to find a safe place for both our parents. They used that to their advantage, didn't call back, and weren't professional or caring. They didn't even say sorry when a family member died. They don't have a heart. Try other places before you settle on this one.

"Great facility, many activities, cozy apartment, well-kept grounds"
This place is really nice. The grounds are well-kept and look great. My mom loves it here. Her apartment is cozy and she feels at home. She’s independent and only needs help with her meds, which they handle really well. They have lots of activities like bingo, games, movies, crafts, and even trips to the casino and shopping. The location is perfect because it’s close to where I live and near services. We’re very happy with this place.

"They Do a Decent Job Here"
They have a lot of staff changes, but they're decent at hiring. However, they struggle with keeping employees. The pay isn't great. My family member doesn't participate in activities, so I won't rate that. We've had issues with missing laundry. The food is good, but they need to improve serving temperatures. The male nurse impressed me—he's both interested and capable, working long hours.

"Home-Like Community with Convenient Amenities"
Cedar Ridge was really good for our family. It's a nice place that's super clean. The apartments have kitchens, but they also offer meals. It feels more like home, not just a community. I wish they had name tags for residents, like other places do. It would help staff and residents know each other. Overall, we're happy and would suggest it to anyone.

"Deterioration Over Year, Too Many Staff Replacements"
It's been downhill for this place in the past year. There's just too many swapping of staff members.
