"Memory Care Oversight Lacking, Frequent Visits Necessary"
My family member didn't have a good time at Cascades Chesterley. The person in charge of memory care should talk more with the caregivers and the doctor. I had to visit almost every day.

"Awful Experience at Cascades Chesterley Assisted Living Facility"
My grandma lived at Cascades Chesterley and it was awful. By her third day, I discovered medicine she was supposed to take just lying on the floor. The door to the kitchen was really dirty. I also saw mold in her heater/AC unit. I wouldn't tell others to use this place.

"Cascades Chesterley: Empty Promises and Unfair Treatment"
This place doesn't live up to what it promises! If you love your family member, you should look somewhere else. I've lived here for 3 years with my dogs, but now they're under new management and Cascades Chesterley is trying to kick us out. They're saying it's because of animal abuse, but they don't have any proof. I'm talking with a lawyer now, as I'm the only resident with dogs. Someone with diabetes shouldn't live here either, because they don't provide food suitable for diabetics. I've asked the cook to make meals a diabetic person can eat, like dishes high in protein instead of mashed potatoes, but no luck. They're of no help. The place is always short-staffed and faces a high rate of staff quitting. Plus, they're rude to the seniors. It's tough to find another place when you're on Medicare, but I'm on the hunt. They want to put my dogs down, too. I regret moving here - it's all empty promises, just like a politician. Don't let your loved ones move in here. Keep them safe.

"Great staff, but admission process could be better."
I think their first evaluation for admission could be improved. My dad's needs were more complex than what they provide. However, the staff were great. She was amazing and really knows her stuff. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

"Pricey but friendly, too greedy for comfort."
The folks and everything there were nice, but they're too money-hungry. The cost is just way too high.

"Poor Care, Terrible Management - Don't Recommend This Facility"
Our mom was in this facility for 2 years during which the directors, nurses, and staff kept changing. The food was bad, rooms are not cleaned regularly, they don't offer transportation, and there're no activities. The high-level people at this place don't seem to care about the people living there, they're hard to reach, and sometimes really rude. If there's a problem, they blame it on the residents and don't take responsibility for their actions. Our mom's health issues were not taken seriously even though we mentioned them repeatedly. As a result, she's now in a nursing home with lasting damage. This place is the last thing I'd recommend!

"Great Place, Needs Better Family Communication"
I would recommend this place to others for their loved ones. It seems like a great place to be. My only worry is that the care is top-notch. It would be nice if the staff were more proactive and interactive with families to keep us updated on our loved one's care.

"Poor choice for elderly care."
Don't choose this place for loved ones. Staff turnover, communication issues.

"Great care, but a bit pricey"
I was really happy with how things went for my mom while she was at this place. All the staff were wonderful and took great care of her. She had a lot of health problems, so it was important that the place had a knowledgeable nursing staff. The only thing I didn’t expect was that it was a bit more expensive than we planned.

"Consider all options for loved ones in assisted living."
My parents like it here. Staff is nice and helpful. Place is clean and well-maintained. They have activities. I was glad they have good memory care if needed. Families should look at all choices.

"Expensive but nice."
I visited this place, and it seemed nice. It's similar to other communities, but the price is too high.

"Overall positive experience."
We visited Ms. Jackson on Tuesday, January 13th. The one-bedroom unit was pleasant, although I'd prefer the bathroom connected to the bedroom. Common areas were tidy, but we didn't meet any residents. The staff was friendly.
