"Great staff and food, but hallway carpet needs cleaning"
The move-in process was smooth. The food is tasty, and the staff are really friendly. They clean the residents' rooms every week. Communication with family members is excellent. I gave a lower score for cleanliness because the hallway carpet has a bad smell. But overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone.

"Great staff but care and food need improvement"
Be careful with what you're told when moving in. I was promised an evaluation to make sure I was getting the right level of care for the rate I was paying, but they never did that. I was in worse shape when I first arrived and expected more care. No one really checked on my health or talked to me about my needs. I also asked three times for the paperwork I signed, but never got a copy. They had me listed as Independent Living instead of Assisted Living, which was not what I was promised. However, the rest of the staff were friendly and great. The facility was mostly clean, though the dining room tables were sometimes not wiped well. The cleaning staff did a good job, and there were activities to join if you wanted. But in the end, I felt like I was wasting a lot of money each month. The food was usually so bad I couldn’t eat it, and living on cheeseburgers isn’t ideal. Most of the time, the food was cold, and it varied in quality depending on the chef.

"GenCare: Nourishing Seniors with Personalized Care"
I visited GenCare today and met both staff members. GenCare is an older facility compared to others I've seen. I appreciated the choices for organic, gluten-free food, their hands-on approach, and their commitment to keeping seniors active.

"Depressing Atmosphere, Pleasant Staff: Not Ideal for Mom's Needs"
I went on a tour at GenCare Lifestyle. The lady showing me around was really nice and she answered all my questions. The place seemed old and kind of sad. It wasn't the greatest for my mom.

My visit to this village was pretty decent. The place appeared neat and clean. From my observation, everything was well taken care of. The people who worked there were kind and welcoming. They knew their stuff and answered any questions I had. All in all, my visit was pleasant and the village seemed to be a good one.

"Friendly community with great activities, but a bit pricey"
I’m doing well in this community and have adjusted pretty well. The only problem I’ve had is that the air conditioning doesn’t work, and I wish I had known about that before moving in. Overall, everything is nice, and everyone is really friendly. They offer great activities all week. The staff is great too they’re very kind and helpful. It is a bit pricey, but I do like it here and would recommend it.

"Comfortable Community with Friendly Staff"
I'm doing okay here, and I've settled in nicely. The only issue is the broken air conditioning, which I wish I'd known about earlier. Overall, everything is nice, and everyone is really friendly. They have fun activities every week, and the staff is awesome—super nice and helpful. It's a bit pricey, but I still like it here and would suggest it to others.

"Helpful Staff and Great Flexibility with Room Changes"
They gave me helpful information and were okay with the changes I made to my room when I first arrived. The initial room didn’t have windows, but they were really understanding about the changes I needed.

"First Smell of Cigarettes and Possibly Pet Store?"
My first smell was like cigarettes mixed with maybe a pet shop? The people living there were really nice and really seemed to like the workers.

"Assisted Living Community Review"
This place has more than just nice things on the outside. They have good food and activities, but it's important to know how long you'll wait for meals and what activities are available. Safety is also a big concern for fires, power outages, or storms. They should make sure residents can walk to meals and offer activities they're interested in. Some people just want a place to stay, but being part of the community is important too. It's not a boring place – it's alive and needs everyone's help to stay that way.
