"Facility Falls Short: Unwelcoming Atmosphere and Lack of Activities"

I visited this place and wouldn't suggest it. The people living there looked really unhappy. The building was tiny, everyone was the same, and there was nothing fun to do. It didn't feel lively or friendly at all. To be honest, it seemed like somewhere you'd only go if you had no family or anyone else to help you out.

"Good Care, Needs More Staff"

I would recommend Louisa Place for someone who needs care for their loved one. The care was very good, but sometimes they were a little short-staffed, so my dad had to wait. It wasn't the caregivers' fault; they did the best they could with what they had. I know it's tough right now, especially being a caregiver myself. My main thing is they provided a lot of good care, but I wish they could be a little quicker.

Despite frequent staff changes, the assisted living facility maintains a warm and friendly atmosphere. Residents receive caring treatment, and there are plenty of engaging activities and support.

"Caring Staff, High Fees, and Great Activities"

There have been many problems here because of constant staff changes. But the ones who stay are kind and caring, and the place feels cozy and home-like. There are lots of activities led by a great activities director who really connects with the residents. It’s clear that a corporation owns this place—fees are very high and the landlord is never around. They should treat their main employees better because they work really hard and seem very stretched thin from what I see.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short; Needs Improvement Urgently"

My mom moved in there, but things got worse fast. The boss left and nobody took over. They kept switching managers or had just one who left months ago. They still haven't found a new one. Mom needs help with meds, but they haven't had a full-time nurse for almost a year. The nurse got sick and passed away. It took them forever to find a replacement, but she quit too. They keep saying they're interviewing, but still no nurse. There was a great cook, but she left suddenly. The new one's meals aren't good at all. The food is bad and never changes. They raised the bill by $800 in August without telling us why. If it wasn't for the $3500 deposit, we'd move mom out. COVID made things even worse. They hardly talk to us about it. We thought this place would be good, but now we're not so sure. The staff care, but it seems like the constant changes and bad management are making them unhappy, which isn't good for the residents. They need to make changes, hire people who will stick around. The last boss stayed in her office and wasn't friendly. We were glad when she left.

"Louisa Place: From Heartfelt Home to Heartless Business"

Louisa Place used to be great. But ever since Enlivant Corporation took over, it's clear things aren't as good. The staff are doing their best, but the way it's managed feels like a prison camp. They're using the COVID-19 situation to control things like window visits and make rules that cause a lot of sorrow for families and residents. They've also made it hard to talk to the staff. The people living there are sad and confused. The cost is driving families away and forcing them to move their loved ones during the pandemic. Everything about Louisa Place now just seems aimed at getting more money from the families. The kindness, understanding and closeness that used to be here is gone from Louisa Place.

"Facility Prioritizes Profit Over Resident Care During Pandemic"

This facility used to be great, but things went downhill during the Coronavirus outbreak. The corporate bosses appointed a Director to overhaul the place. Residents were confined to their rooms with no chance to stroll around, and meals were brought to them. This place became a mess and the higher-ups never bothered to communicate with family caregivers about the additional efforts needed to maintain their regular care during the pandemic. This stressful situation had a big impact on the residents. However, instead of finding support, they were reassessed in their worst state, without consulting family caregivers. After that, their care charges nearly doubled without any warning. What they did to residents who had lived there for over five years was just terrible. Buyer, be aware that the well-being of the residents is not their top priority. They're more interested in making a quick buck. The facility didn't help during the pandemic, but rather insisted the long-term residents to evacuate. And, due to the hurried nature of the so-called clean-out, they forced us to move everything through the main lobby door, which unnecessarily exposed everyone to potential risks if their goal was actually to reduce exposure to the residents.

"Terrible Conditions at Assisted Living Facility, Immediate Investigation Alerted"

I would advise against entrusting your loved ones to this place. The person in charge creates an unwelcoming environment making residents afraid to voice their concerns lest they risk being sent to a mental health facility where they would be heavily medicated and denied visitors. The manager, The staff is often heard boasting about his lunchtime drinking habits, and his breath frequently smells of alcohol. At the moment, there aren't enough staff members, and some of the nursing personnel lack the necessary qualifications for their positions. Moreover, staff seem untrained in providing appropriate care for older adults. Authorities have been informed and will soon conduct a thorough review. The kitchen personnel supposedly have health cards, but they continue traditional cooking habits like not wearing hair nets and leaving leftovers out in the open.

"Awful Care and Management at Assisted Living Facility"

The management at this assisted living facility is truly terrible. It's as if everything has been neglected - even the van they use to take the residents on trips is broken, meaning we have been stuck here for months. The activities offered are dull, and to make matters worse, the staff is consistently unkind. It seems like they may clean the windows once every couple of years if we're lucky. When we voice our concerns, it feels like they just don't listen or care. The manager hardly ever shows up, but when he does, it's easy to tell that he's been drinking by his attitude and smell. It's enough to make you feel sick. To add insult to injury, items belonging to the residents have been stolen and never reported. The people in charge of the kitchen don't even wear proper hairnets and leave the place in a mess. We've reported all these issues to the state and we're hoping that the standards will improve as a result.

"Mixed Billing Experience"

Overall, Living Paradise is pretty good. They handle money stuff alright, but sometimes they charge too much.

"Good Assisted Living Option with L-Shaped Studios"

Certainly! Here’s the revised review in simpler language: Dad is too active and independent for what Louisa’s Place provides. When he requires assisted living, this becomes a suitable choice. The L-shaped studios are pleasant, and the cost is reasonable.
