"Excellent Care and Compassionate Service by Experienced Professionals"

We had a great experience with the care of the staff gave us last year when my wife broke her hip. The aftercare took several weeks, as her wound was very large and needed special attention to avoid infection. They carefully cleaned and changed the dressings 3 to 4 times a week for 3 months. I highly recommend them to my friends and senior insurance clients for long-term or home care. I’ve worked in Magnolia, Ballard, Queen Anne, and other areas for 49 years. I’m grateful that I met them at our church and became a good friend.

"Magnolia Domicile Provides Exceptional Care and Improvement for Loved Ones"

My mom has been living at Magnolia Domicile since early March 2010. During her stay, her amazing team have greatly improved her health and well-being beyond what we thought possible. As her children, we highly recommend Magnolia Domicile for the best care for those who need it most. My stepdad came to Magnolia Domicile as a brittle diabetic who had to go to the hospital a lot because his blood sugar levels were always too high or too low. With care, he has been doing so well that he rarely needs insulin and hasn’t had any emergency problems in the six months he’s been here. He might complain about the bland food and limited menu, but this controlled diet has really improved his health even if he misses the Root Beer floats and Snickers bars he used to have. Sometimes, making the right choice isn’t easy, but as family members, we support the proper care choices for our parents. We appreciate Magnolia Domicile’s staff for their professionalism and commitment to doing what’s best for the residents, even when it’s not the easiest option. My 93-year-old mom has been revitalized by the skilled, caring, and loving staff at Magnolia Domicile. She and her team have been creative and determined in making sure my mom has the best environment to enjoy her last years. She and her staff have consistently shown high standards in medical care and ethics, while providing a wonderfully caring and well-maintained place to live. I and my three siblings highly recommend Magnolia Domicile.

"Best adult care home in Seattle"

I don’t think the people who left one-star reviews ever had a loved one here. My dad is a current resident, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. He had been in other local homes where care was just okay, but I started noticing neglect. He got repeated urinary tract infections, and I wasn’t told about them until it was too late. Communication was bad. One night in the ER, a social worker connected me with a placement agency that recommended Magnolia Domicile. I visited right away and moved him in within days. The morning after, I visited and was amazed by how much better he looked. He used to have greasy hair and dandruff, but now he was clean and well-groomed. Plus, the food is fresh, nutritious, and looks good. They have their own chef, and they even serve my dad’s favorite meals often. It’s a huge improvement from his last home, where they just threw together quick meals like spaghetti. The facility is spotless, and the staff is so friendly. They even know me by name. Everyone really cares about the residents. At his old place, staff would just be on their phones, but here they spend time with the residents and interact with them constantly. The best part is that Lelia, the owner, is an RN. She’s gone above and beyond, even going with my dad to doctor’s appointments to make sure she understands his needs. He had hearing trouble, and she found wax buildup in his ears and cleared it. Now he can hear better, and he looks years younger since coming here. Every family member who visits comments on the amazing care he’s getting. I’m so thankful we found this place. My dad’s turning 98 soon, and with the care he gets, he might just make it to 100. Magnolia Domicile is truly exceptional in every way. I don’t believe the negative reviews for a second. There’s no way someone who actually had a loved one here could say those things. They don’t even mention specific experiences. Honestly, I think it’s a rival trying to drag them down. Magnolia Domicile is the best adult care home in Seattle, and I’d gladly give a reference anytime to speak up for this amazing place.

"Beware: Untruthful Owner, Ignored Needs, No Activities"

Our time with this assisted living place wasn't good. Be very mindful around these folks. The lady who runs this place was not truthful, she didn't give back half of my money. They were getting things for my mom and not telling me about it. They didn't pay attention to her food needs, just ignored them. There was only one caregiver who was really top-notch. They didn't have any fun activities. This place really let me down.

"Expensive assisted living with subpar conditions and poor dietary considerations"

THIS ISN'T THE RIGHT PLACE FOR YOUR LOVED ONE! The food options are seriously lacking! They serve the same meals to all residents, even if they're diabetic – this means no special diets! The management buys cheap provisions from low-end stores like DOLLAR TREE and GOODWILL, yet the monthly charges are in the thousands. On top of it all, there are numerous problems within the facility like "BUGS" and more!

"Expensive Fees, Cheap Service: Not Worthy for Loved Ones"

THIS PLACE ISN'T FIT FOR YOUR LOVED ONES! They have very little variety in their meals! They give everyone the same grub, even if they have diabetes- there's no consideration for dietary needs! The provider is cutting corners by getting cheap stuff from places like DOLLAR TREE and GOODWILL, and you're shelling out thousands every month. Plus, there's a whole slew of problems in that house, like "BUGS" and so on.

"Poor Service, Subpar Assisted Living Facility"

Severely inadequate meals and low-quality supplies like diapers, moisturizers, soap, shampoo, and more. Really awful service!
