"Facility Exceeded Expectations"
Our care services went beyond what the facility offered. The Director might not have realized this, but they were very helpful when settling the bill. We were prorated, and they coordinated with hospice for the transfer.

During the challenging times of COVID, the assisted living facility faced staffing shortages like many others. Still, they did their best. The staff were amazing—truly loving and caring. I wanted to give them five stars, but COVID circumstances led to a four. Overall, it's a wonderful place! We even visit because my 80-year-old friend fell in love with a 92-year-old resident there. We've adopted him into our family, and everyone takes such loving care of my sister.

"Slow to resolve issues, long wait for insurance resolution."
Just okay, slow with problem-solving. Insurance issue took five months.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Management"
Hey, listen up! Before you decide on these places, make sure you do your homework! They might seem all nice and fancy, but if you need extra help, they're not up to par. There's just not enough staff to go around. The folks who take care of us are doing their best, but I bet they won't stick around for long. And let me tell you about the boss... not someone I'd want to hang out with. Seems like all they care about is making sales, probably because the higher-ups are pushing them. We need someone who actually knows how to run things around here!

"Great Location, Spacious Rooms, and Excellent Food and Care"
We chose Maple Ridge because it's close to family and a good value. The rooms are great; hers is 520 square feet, which is plenty for one person. The layout is well-designed with lots of windows and storage. She loves the food! The new chef came out during our tour to talk to my sister about her likes and dislikes. They did a great job matching her with other residents who have similar experiences with dementia. It's worked out wonderfully. I would definitely recommend them to others.

" Maple Ridge Assisted Living: A Disappointing Experience "
If you want a bad time for your family member and headaches with the bosses, try Maple Ridge. My grandpa's been there for 4 years, and we've had 5 bosses. They mess up his medicine, the food's bad, and the workers don't care. A while back, things got so bad that everyone there signed a paper asking the boss to fix stuff. It's sad because the place itself is nice, but the bosses just can't do their job right. If it wasn't for being on Whidbey Island my grandpa won't leave, we would've moved him already.
