"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience"
My grandma moved here from home. The two ladies running it were very unprofessional. The boss came outside looking for me to argue after I gave a card and flowers for the staff. She pulled me into the office to scold me, then chased me to my car. It was because I was trying to help my grandma, who kept asking me to come get her. She didn’t like it there and always wanted me to pick her up. I understand why. I felt bad every time I had to go there. The staff changed a lot, which says something. I am really mad at [name removed] & [name removed] for treating me badly while dealing with my grandma's dementia and trying to help.

"Nice tour, but location wasn't quite right for us"
We had a great tour at Mountlake Terrace Plaza. We liked it, but we needed a place closer to us. The staff was also very good about following up after the tour.

"Feels like home with great care, but food could improve"
I chose this place because it truly feels like home. The people here are fantastic friendly, nice, and like family. The care staff is excellent, making sure I get my medications, doctor appointments, and meals on time, plus fun activities to keep me busy. Sometimes the food doesn't match the menu description and isn't exactly what I expected, but overall, I enjoy my privacy and the community respects that. I really love living here.

"Peaceful and Private Living in Mountlake Terrace"
The stay has been nice. I moved here in September 2021. I’m still exploring the city of Mountlake Terrace and the community. I have a quiet apartment where I feel peaceful. It’s private and perfect for singing.

"Assisted Living with a Friendly Atmosphere"
This place is cool and friendly. It costs a bit more, but it's in a super area with tons of places for walks. The lady at the front desk is always nice to me.

"Older Community, Friendly Staff, Small Size Concerns"
Visited aPfM assisted living. Staff was friendly, and the tour went well. The studio seemed suitable. My only worry is that it’s an older community, which might not be the best fit for my dad due to its small size.

"Great place with a few minor issues, staff is very nice"
We’ve been really happy with this place. The staff is super nice, and even though there have been a few small mix-ups, they really try hard to make everything easy. The food is amazing, and the chef is top-notch. The place is always clean, with housekeeping coming by weekly to tidy up and wash linens and towels. There are tons of activities and several events every day. Overall, it’s not perfect, but they’re definitely giving it their best shot.

"Cozy but not the right fit for us"
The place felt really cozy and homey. However, it was a bit too vertical for us. The location didn’t work well for me. It was unique and interesting. I tried the food, but it tasted like it came from a package. The space was very tight.

"Amazing Care and Comfort for Our Family"
We moved my Mom and Dad-in-law here. They have been super happy with the caring staff, great food, lots of activities, and friendly senior neighbors. The location next to the library and restaurants is nice, and it’s easy to get to from the freeway. When Mom had a fall, the staff were right there to help. They still walk her to meals and help with bathing, which is a huge relief for me. When we visit, it feels like coming home. Everyone knows our names. We’ve been looking into a different apartment at the same place, and the manager has been amazing. Very kind and helpful. We couldn’t be happier. We’ve recommended this place to three friends, and two of them moved their parents here. The caregivers, front desk, office staff, activities staff, housekeeping, and dining are all excellent. They are THE BEST.

"A Great Fit!"
My family member is doing really well since moving to Mountlake Terrace Plaza. The meals are delicious. What stood out during our tour was the fancy dining room with white tablecloths. They’re getting involved in activities, which is an improvement from their previous place. Overall, it’s been a positive experience.

"Salesman's Forceful Approach Displeases Resident's Dad!"
My father wasn't too pleased with how forceful and intense the man that showed us around the community was. This made my father somewhat uneasy and he didn't want anything to do with this place once we left. On a brighter note, the overall place was neat and well-kept.

"Great place with caring staff and lots of activities!"
This is a great community. My mom really likes the studio she moved into. The staff is very caring and always ready to help her. The community has different people who offer various services, so she won’t need to move again. They go on shopping trips and have nice dinners out. The community is clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend this place for families and their loved ones.

"Great Assisted Living Facility Happy with Staff, Takes Adjustment"
This place seems pretty good. The building is nice, and we're happy here. The staff is really nice and helpful. They check on her a lot. It's still new, so it's a bit strange at first, but we think it's going well.

""Elevator Issues Mar Old Facility; Better Options Available""
This place sure is old and you can see it right away when you step inside. The building is three stories high but there's only one elevator, which used to break down a lot when my grandparents stayed there. This meant that people got stuck on the 2nd and 3rd floors, sometimes even for whole days. My grandparents have moved to a new place now and they're much happier there.

"Cozy, welcoming place with great activities and value"
The atmosphere here is very cozy and feels like home. When I first arrived, I saw many residents socializing, eating, and enjoying each other's company. The dining room is open from 7am to 7pm, so there's plenty of time for meals. The staff interacts and talks with the residents, creating a lively and comfortable environment. They offer a variety of activities and events that my parents really liked. After checking out many places, I found that Mountlake Terrace Plaza offers the best value for its price. The building is older but well-kept. It’s clean, smells good, and both residents and staff seem happy. My parents now live here.
