"Billing Woes and Staff Shortage at North Creek"
We’re having issues with North Creek. They keep charging us even after my relative moved out. The facility lacks sufficient staff, and it’s not very clean. Their bookkeeping is often slow and inaccurate. I don’t recommend North Creek.

"Needs improvement in food quality and service, but staff is nice"
Like many places, they could use more help. The servers who bring the food need better training. The meals aren’t good and aren’t cooked well. They put mayo on everything, even a grilled cheese sandwich. If you don’t want mayo, you have to specifically ask for it. The food often comes out cold. Sometimes the hamburgers are burned. The other night, my husband got a dinner roll that was burned on top. The staff here are really nice and helpful, and there are plenty of good activities. Would I recommend them? Probably not.

"Understaffed Assisted Living Falls Short on Promises"
The place is nice and the staff is friendly. But they need more help because they don’t have enough people to do all the work. The food service is slow, and the food isn’t hot. Also, they don’t offer the activities they promised because they’re short-staffed. And sometimes the staff gives different answers depending on who you ask.

"Avoid North Creek Assisted Living, bad experience, wouldn't recommend."
My family member stayed at North Creek, and it was bad. I don't think others should go there.

"Mixed Experience with Meals and Activities, Car Service Unknown"
Overall, the experience has been mixed. Sometimes, we don’t get answers to our questions. We haven’t used the car services yet, so we’re not sure about them. Mom mentioned that the meals were good before, but since they got a new chef, the food hasn’t been as great. There are also fewer activities available right now.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Overall, the place was nice, but the management changed a bit while we were there. The staff cared about us, even though they were short-staffed. We noticed a lot of staff turnover during our short stay. The food sometimes came out cold, and the service was slow, but they did offer a good variety of meals. However, it’s quite expensive, which is unfortunate for our elderly loved ones.

"Disappointing Experience at North Creek Memory Care Facility"
We visited North Creek while looking for a place for our loved one. It felt messy, staff didn't know residents well. Not very clean. Tour guide didn't look professional for older family members. Despite saying it wasn't right, kept getting texts and calls.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Communication, Safety, and Food"
We really like how close it is to our child's house, that's the best part. But they need to work on talking better, keeping us safe, and the food. Sadly, we wouldn't tell other families to come here. The people who used to run things didn't keep their promises to my mom before she moved in. And she got hurt slipping on ice outside. There weren't any signs, they didn't try to get rid of the ice, they didn't say sorry, and they haven't checked in on how my mom's doing.

"Great Staff, But Needs Improvement for Residents' Comfort and Care"
The staff here are all really great, and I know this is a business. But my main focus is on my Mom. There have been times when she’s gone for 4 hours without a change of underwear, and I’ve found her smelling of poop and urine. I’ve asked the staff to help, and they’ve agreed it needed changing, but it seems like it’s just not being done regularly. The shower water is cold, which is a problem I’ve heard from other residents too. This makes me sad because we should be finding and fixing these issues before they are reported, so the residents can enjoy their last years here. I understand why the water might be kept cooler to prevent burns. But raising it by a few degrees wouldn’t be a risk, and it would make a big difference. These residents are people, not products. We need to balance their care with cost control, keeping the focus on the residents’ well-being. I’ve heard that some staff (not all) can be abrupt and rough. I know this job is extremely hard and I’m grateful for those who do it. I don’t think the roughness is intentional, but small issues in Memory Care can seem bigger to the residents. Some problems come from staff personalities or the huge demands placed on them, which can be overwhelming. I’m not sure what the solution is—maybe more staff? But it’s clear that for many residents, this place can feel like a prison, whether they realize it or not. Overall, I think it’s a decent place. The residents are mostly interesting and friendly. The staff tries hard to do a good job, but some are held back by the demands and issues within the team. Every job here, including management, is tough, and I respect everyone for their efforts. I might be good at fixing things and coming up with ideas, but managing a place like this is beyond my expertise. I don’t have a better solution, but I do think there’s room for improvement. Because, at the end of the day, it’s all about my Mom. That’s what really matters to me.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Staff and Services"
I don't think this place is good for others' loved ones. It's friendly, but there's not enough staff, and they keep leaving. The food is awful, like it comes from a can! My family brings food because what they serve is making our loved one sick. They were supposed to clean the place every week, but they hardly ever do it. We're not getting what they promised us. Plus, we don't feel like we're getting our money's worth. The staff have to go to different places, some really far away, to help out. My loved one's apartment looks nice, but it's hardly ever clean.

"A Welcoming Community with Fun Activities!"
The staff is super friendly and kind. They make sure residents and families feel welcome. The community offers fun activities like bingo, trivia, and paint-and-sip events. They even celebrate veterans and Oktoberfest. Plus, there are scavenger hunts and more to keep residents busy.

"Great place to live with minor issues, would recommend to others"
I've made some good friends here and I'm finally feeling settled in. I haven't had any problems or complaints personally. I'm really happy with my apartment. There have been issues with staffing and a lot of turnover, but I know that's happening everywhere right now. The food is good, with a variety and a daily special that is well-balanced. Housekeeping is mostly good, but the laundry room floor could use a cleaning. Overall, I would recommend this place to family and friends.

"Friendly Community with Room for Improvement"
This place is really nice and the staff are super friendly. But, there are a few things that could be better. Sometimes, when you ask maintenance for help, like hanging something up or installing something, it can take a while for them to respond. The meals are good, but with staff changes and supply issues, they can sometimes be hit or miss.

"Great staff, but the food could use some improvement"
The staff has been really great and very helpful. We haven’t been here for a long time, but so far, they’ve been awesome. The only thing that needs improvement is the food. It’s often cold, and considering the cost, it doesn’t match up with the rest of the community. (I get that they might be short-staffed because of Covid.)

"Quality Care at North Creek Assisted Living"
At North Creek, the menu offers great variety, meals are excellent, and residents enjoy plenty of activities. Despite staff shortages, the quality of care makes it worth the expense. Highly recommended for loved ones needing this type of care.
