"A Caring Place with Challenges"
This place is better than most. My mom likes it here. Good stuff: It's clean, friendly, and the food is pretty good. The staff works hard and is nice. They care about the residents. Most residents seem happy. But there are issues: Not enough staff, lots of changes. Communication isn't fast. You need to stay organized and be your own advocate. They're often overwhelmed. Some systems need improvement. Overall, they're good, but families need to be involved.

When your parent moves into an assisted living facility, make sure to visit frequently. This way, you won't overlook small details. Remember, it takes time for both the staff and your loved one to settle into a routine.

"Disorganized and unprepared for tour"
I showed up for the tour, but the person who was supposed to show me around wasn't there. The front desk person ended up showing me around and did her best, but she couldn't answer many of my questions. The disorganization from the start made me hesitant about placing a loved one there. If they're disorganized on the tour, what else could they be disorganized about?

"Great care, clean facility, and enjoyable activities at Prestige"
Being new to senior living, we had a lot to learn. We didn't know what questions to ask or what services were available. I would advise others to research ahead of time to avoid surprises later. Despite that, our experience at Prestige has been good. The place is clean, everyone is very nice, and they take great care of my parents. My parents seem to love the food. Activities are starting back up after Covid, with several each day and road trips on Mondays. The cost was a bit shocking, but that's probably true anywhere. We have no complaints about the care or the facility. If you can afford it, I would recommend Prestige.

"Gloomy Setting at Prestige Senior Living Disappoints Us"
We didn't like Prestige Senior Living. The place looks ancient. They were fixing things, but it still seemed dark and gloomy. The way they presented it wasn't good. It made us feel sad.

The staff at this place work hard to keep everyone safe and happy. They are helpful, and the living spaces are really nice. My dad has his own bathroom, kitchenette, and living room, so he’s quite comfortable. He does complain about the food, but he says the same thing when we eat out at restaurants too.

"Could Improve Assessment Process; Overall, Fairly Simple Admission Process"
They did a decent job making it easy to get my family member into the place. But, they got mixed up about how they figured out his needs and the level of help he needed. They should work on fixing that part.

"Great care and support at Auburn Meadows for Mom’s transition"
So far, Mom is doing well. The move was really tough for her, but the staff at Auburn Meadows have been amazing in helping her adjust. Mom has some good days and some not-so-good days, but the staff are there for her every step of the way. We are very happy with how things are going.
