"Great Choice for Medicaid Support and Friendly Service"
I chose this place for several reasons. First, it was one of the few that accepted Medicaid support after two years. Out of the three options nearby that have this program, it was the best overall. This includes the cost for the first two years, the condition of the facilities, how friendly the staff is, and the location.

"Great place with friendly staff and clean apartments"
I really like it here. It was a great choice. The community is very friendly, and the staff is really good. Everyone is nice, pleasant, and helpful. I’m happy with my apartment, and they clean and change the sheets once a week.

"Great care under pandemic restrictions"
This is a good place for anyone who needs this kind of care. They’re following pandemic rules and managing things well.

"Great staff and setting; rooms are good with some planning"
We picked Regency Newcastle because the staff seemed happy and caring during our virtual tour. The place has nice grounds and a pleasant setting. The rooms are a good size, but planning is needed. Sometimes you need to remind them to communicate, but they’re happy to chat once you do. I would recommend it.

"Residents Beware: Broken AC and Locked Hoses!"
They've had broken air conditioning for more than a year. The people living here call themselves 'inmates.' They can leave anytime, but they don't have a key to get back in at night. They try to garden, but management locks up the hoses. All activities got canceled because the van's air conditioning is also broken.

"Avoid Aged-Care Facility: Inadequate Living Conditions And Negligent Management"
The air conditioning has been busted for over a year here. The folks living here say they feel like prisoners. They can leave whenever, day or night, but have no key to get back in after dark. They've tried starting gardens, but management keeps the hoses locked up. All the fun stuff has been cancelled because the air conditioning in their transport van is messed up. Beware, beware - seriously, don't come live here.

"In-transition Assisted Living"
The tour was nice, but the remodeling made it confusing. The director was knowledgeable and friendly, but not the right fit for my in-law.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living, meets needs but lacks efficiency."
They don't have enough workers. Food takes a long time. New people are always being trained because many leave. Nurses are okay, but it's tricky to find someone who really knows what's happening. Had some trouble with paying, but it got sorted out eventually. It does everything my mom needs. The staff works hard, and they're really nice.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The place doesn't have enough workers. Food takes forever. People keep leaving, so they're always teaching new folks. The nurses are alright, but it's tough to find someone who knows everything. Had a problem with paying, but it got fixed later. It does what my mom needs. The workers do their best, and they're nice.

"We love it here! Highly recommend."
We absolutely love it here. She is starting to join in all the activities. It's very nice. I've eaten there a couple of times; once it was too salty, but usually, it's okay. It's clean, and everyone is wonderful, though there have been a few communication issues. I would highly recommend them to others. We also liked that they have a pool.

"Nice Place, but Worker Issues at Regency Newcastle"
Regency Newcastle's place is pretty cool, but they've got problems with their workers. It looks like they don't pay their people much, so a lot of them end up leaving. It seems like they care more about keeping their place looking nice than making sure they have good workers who stick around. However, the nurses are really good.
