"Great Care and Support for Grandma in a Loving Home"
Our family chose this place for Grandma when she needed more help than regular assisted living could offer, due to her declining health. The facility is a cozy, single-story home in a South Hill neighborhood, with space for about six residents. The staff are kind, hardworking, and treat everyone like family. Grandma was always clean, well-groomed, and enjoyed tasty meals. Communication with the family was regular and professional, and the staff were flexible, finding creative solutions to any issues that came up. The staff-to-resident ratio was good, which meant Grandma received the personal attention she liked. One day, we saw a caregiver holding Grandma's hand and comforting her when her dementia made her anxious. They celebrated her good days by engaging her sense of humor and reminiscing with her, and adjusted her schedule on tougher days to better meet her needs. We felt truly fortunate to have found this place for Grandma during her final days. We are deeply thankful for their support.

"Cozy, Accepts Medicaid, and Room Choices"
Nice and cozy. The only room left is for two people, but Lolita assured us we could take it. We chatted with two residents, and they seemed content with the care they receive. They’ll accept Medicaid once their funds run low, but they’d like Grandma to move to a smaller room then.

"Friendly Owner, Big Rooms, No Nurses, Cluttered House"
Lolita, the one who runs the place, was very friendly and she seemed to get along well with the people living there. She told us to chat with them to get answers to our questions from their point of view. The room they had open was big and even had its own bathroom- a really great point. But the downside was that the house seemed pretty messy. It was more disorganized than we'd expected, especially since the owners don't stay there. They don't have any licensed practical nurses or other nurses who come by. You dial 911 if you need help.
