"Quiet Yet Competent"
This place is a bit too hushed and sterile for what we're looking for, but the staff takes good care of everyone.

"Great place but too pricey for our budget"
The energy here is amazing, and this place was our top choice. Sadly, it’s just too expensive for our budget.

"Tough Choice"
My husband checked out this community and really liked it. It was a tough decision to choose this one over another place he liked just as much. The community was well kept and the landscaping looked great. The staff was helpful and gave us lots of good information.

"Friendly staff, but lacked activities and views for dad"
I was really happy with what they provided. The staff was friendly and helpful. We decided not to go with this place because it didn't have as many activities my dad likes and it was harder to see what's going on around the area.

"A Pleasant Experience"
I really liked what they had to offer. The staff was nice and helpful. But we decided not to pick this place because it didn't have all the fun things my dad likes, and it wasn't easy to see what was happening around.

"Sunrise Assisted Living: A Caring Community"
In the first two weeks, everything has gone well considering our cross-country move and our father’s high care needs. Only four places in the Bellevue, Kent, Renton area (excluding home care options) allowed our parents to stay together due to our father’s extensive care requirements. Sunrise was one of them. The staff is caring and compassionate, and their response time to call buttons is impressive (1-2 minutes, compared to our previous experience in a Rehab/Nursing facility). The staff and management’s problem-solving approach suits our situation perfectly. While it’s a bit pricey, it’s been worth it for us. Our father and mother both enjoy the food. For our mobile and healthy mother, the Crossroads mall and nearby shopping are very convenient. Overall, we really like this place.

"Great for couples; one with high care needs, very satisfied"
In the first two weeks, everything has gone quite well considering the big move and our father's high care needs. Only four places in the Bellevue, Kent, and Renton area would let our mother and father stay in the same room because of our father's very high care needs, like hoyering and hygiene care. Sunrise was one of those places. The staff is very caring and kind. They respond to call buttons really fast, in just 1-2 minutes, which is much better than what we were used to in a rehab facility. The staff and management’s problem-solving skills are perfect for our needs. The food is great, according to both our father and mother. It’s a bit expensive, but so far, it’s been worth it. For our mother, who is very mobile and healthy, the Crossroads mall and other shops being within walking distance is very convenient. Overall, we really like this place.

"Top-Floor View and Great Care, But More Expensive"
My husband wasn’t thrilled about moving in, but he’s doing well now. We initially chose assisted living, but moving him to the memory care floor was a much better choice. It’s on the top floor with a nice view of the grounds. The food is great, and the staff are really kind and attentive. The memory care unit feels much calmer than the assisted living section. However, this place is pricier compared to some others I’ve looked at.

"A Great Place with Caring Staff and Clean Grounds"
They have a good variety of food, but my mom doesn’t like much of it. They do their best to keep her active, and she’s joined some of the exercise classes. The community is clean and has nice outdoor areas. The staff is amazing—very encouraging, attentive, and genuinely caring. We chose this place mainly because the staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable.

"Less Fun, Uncertain About Outings"
I toured this home for my family member, and to be honest, it wasn't as good as others I've seen. They didn't seem to have as many fun things to do, and I didn't know if they take trips outside the home.

"Great food, nice community, and lots of activities available"
The food here is really good, and the chef does a great job. They have lots of appetizers, meals, and desserts. The dining room and community area are really nice. The community has four floors, with the top floor dedicated to Alzheimer's care. They host a social event every afternoon and have many clubs, like crocheting and Spanish. They even show a movie every night in the theater room. Mom has a nice-sized apartment. We were told about this place and I would definitely recommend it.

"Wonderful Care and Activities for My Mom!"
My mom lived in the memory care unit for a year, and the staff really impressed me. They treated everyone with dignity and respect, like family. Instead of just sitting around all day, they got the seniors involved in different activities. I was so happy that my mom spent her last year there. It was such a change from her previous place where she was stuck in her room. When I first visited Sunrise, she was playing a tambourine and singing—I almost didn’t recognize her! I’m deeply thankful to everyone on the 4th floor for treating my mom so well. She loved you all, and your kindness and care meant so much. This place isn’t just beautiful; it’s full of people who truly love their jobs and care about the residents.

"Horrific Treatment at Elderly Facility; Granny Endures Two Years"
This facility is overly packed and their treatment of the elderly is no better than how one would treat animals. They impose strict rules, confining the seniors to their rooms at certain points throughout the day. They wield intimidation as a tool to maintain order. Sadly, my grandmother found herself trapped in this hellish place for two long years before she mustered up the strength to tell me the reality of it. I strongly recommend you to steer clear of this horrific place.

"Top-notch care and great food!"
They have been just amazing. There are lots of activities. The food is really good; we’ve had a few meals there, and she really likes it. We’re really impressed with the food. Everyone from the other place recommended it as the best, and that’s why we chose it. She is getting really good care there.

"Super fancy and nice, but a bit too flashy"
This place is super fancy and really nice, but a bit too flashy. It felt like walking into a hotel lobby. The people were friendly. We picked a place that felt more like home. If you like lots of marble and a high-end vibe, this might be the spot for you.
