"Mixed Experience: Engaging Staff, Tricky Visitation Process"
Our family visited in person, and the community director was friendly. We saw residents enjoying activities. However, getting in during visitation hours was a hassle due to multiple hoops. If no one was there to let you in, waiting was necessary.

"Friendly Staff, Limited Activities, Beautiful Property"
My mom didn't like the activities. Staff were nice but slow to help. Communication took too long. It's our first time, so we didn't know what to ask. They had activities, but not what my mom wanted. Maybe a bigger place would have more. The place looked nice, rooms were good, and it's in a good spot. Mom enjoyed the food.

"Nice facility, but a bit small for my needs."
I toured here for a new place. It's nice but small. Okay food, lots of options. Didn't choose because no suitable apartments.

"Lovely community with great staff and amenities, but not suitable for medical needs."
This place is really pretty with nice gardens all around. The staff were super nice when they showed me around. The rooms were good and there are lots of fun things for people to do here. But, because my mom needs special medical help, they couldn't help her here. Still, I'd say it's worth coming to check out with a tour.

"Lovely Tour"
This community is lovely, with beautiful garden areas. During my tour, the staff did an excellent job showing me around. The rooms were nice, and they offer many amenities for residents. Unfortunately, due to my mother's medical issues, they couldn't accommodate her here. Still, I highly recommend scheduling a tour.

"Happy with Care at Sunrise of Edmonds for Memory Care"
My mother has been in the Memory Care Unit at Sunrise of Edmonds for just three weeks, but our family is already very pleased with the care and the facility. It's expensive, and they do warn you that costs will go up every year, but the place is beautiful and the staff is excellent. They’ve managed to give my mother some time alone while still keeping her involved in the unit’s activities. The food is decent plentiful, healthy, and served nicely. We really appreciate how they help us set up family dinners when we bring in food. I’ve cared for my in-laws in assisted living facilities in another state, and Sunrise compares very well to those places. I feel confident that my mother is safe, comfortable, and well cared for in a place that truly shows her respect and kindness.

"Great care and comfort for mom after just a few weeks"
My mother has only been in the Memory Care Unit at Sunrise of Edmonds for three weeks, but our family is very pleased with the care and the place so far. It’s pricey, and they let you know there will be yearly cost increases, but the facility is lovely and the staff is great. They’ve done a good job of giving my mother her own space while still keeping her involved in the unit's activities. The food is decent plentiful, healthy, and nicely served. We appreciate how they help us arrange family dinners when we bring in food to share. I previously cared for my in-laws in two different assisted living places in another state. Our experience at Sunrise is much better compared to those other places. I feel confident that my mother is safe, comfortable, and well cared for in a place that truly respects and cares for her.

"Cozy and Bright Assisted Living in Edmonds, WA"
I visited last week and thought it was great. It felt cozy and bright. The apartment on the main floor with a patio was especially nice. The main nurse helps with in-home care plans.

"Warm and Welcoming Tour!"
Super friendly! The tour was awesome, and the place seemed great. We were a little worried about the memory care on the third floor.

"Comfortable, Bright Assisted Living Facility with Friendly Staff"
This neat and bright assisted living place has friendly staff and a nice dog named Bucky, giving it a home-like vibe. Still, I'm unsure if the available unit will suit our needs. It's on a corner with many windows, which means a lot of traffic and less privacy. The premises has a small, pleasant, fenced backyard, several patios on different levels, and an open backyard where one can take walks around the building. It's similar to Brighton Court though a bit smaller. The building features a big staircase, which can be a bit intimidating. Our dealings with Cherie initially were a bit rocky but things turned out alright and they waived the moving in fee.

"Great Alzheimer's care, mother-in-law might move in!"
The Alzheimer's care on the third floor is really good. I'm thinking about moving my mother-in-law there!
