"Nice Facility, High Fee, Discount Offered After Call"
I visited Madrona Assisted Living, and it seemed nice. The staff was friendly, from what I saw. They did have a very high move-in fee, but they called me later and offered to lower it.

"Kind, caring staff made my mother’s stay comforting and pleasant"
My mother lived at Bainbridge Senior Living for almost 10 years, spending 7 years at Madison Avenue and 3 years in the Memory Care unit at Madrona House. The staff at both places were kind and caring. Overall, I was very happy with the care my mother received. While there were some tough times when they were short on experienced staff, management was always open, listened to families, and made improvements when needed. The respect and care the staff showed my mother and me during her last days were truly comforting.

"Unhelpful and Rude Staff at Assisted Living Facility"
I phoned this place today to get some information about someone living there. A lady answered, which was good, but she wasn't too friendly or patient with me. When I thanked her at the end of our call, she suddenly hung up! I thought as two professionals, she would've been more respectful. I expected much better from their staff.

"Poor Management at Madrona House Leaves Families Disappointed"
The Madrona House has bad management and an unhelpful DNS. The building is often understaffed, and things are getting worse. It's not worth the money we pay for private care. We like the caregivers and med techs because they know what's going on. I don't recommend moving your loved ones here until new management takes over.

"Nursing Director clueless, facility more like a nursing home"
This place is more like a nursing home. The Nursing Director appears frazzled and clueless about her patients' situations.

"Safety Risks at Understaffed Assisted Living"
The layout of the building isn’t great. The hallways are too long and skinny. The third and fourth floors are split up by a heavy fire door, the nurses’ area, and rooms for laundry and supplies. That fire door is really hard to open, and I’m worried someone will get hurt because of it. The way the building is set up, the caregivers can’t see all the rooms from where they are, especially when there are only two aides for the whole floor. And since some folks living here need two helpers for their daily care, there are times when one side of the floor doesn’t have any staff around. Imagine if someone fell down, they might be on the ground for up to 45 minutes before someone finds them. The people who work here are super good at their jobs, but we need more of them. The bosses don’t seem to care when we tell them about these problems. They keep making staff work extra because a lot of people call out sick. I think the building’s bad design and not having enough workers is making this place unsafe.

"Overpriced, poor food, unhappy staff, greedy management."
This place costs too much! The food options they offer aren't good at all. It's pretty clear the staff doesn't enjoy their jobs here and the managers just care about making more and more money.
