"Quiet Home with Personal Touch for Mom"
We chose this place because it’s cozy, with only up to 6 people living here. It’s a real home with a cool, shady porch, a big fenced yard, and private bedrooms. It’s the best choice I’ve ever made for my mom. This place is calm and quiet. I wouldn’t suggest it for someone who needs lots of action and excitement.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
Nice place, super clean, and organized. No bad smells. Not much to do for Mom. The other clients were friendly but more energetic than Mom. I don't think it's the right fit for her. Unclear about memory care. Costs $4000/month plus extras for Mom's needs.

"Well-maintained home but not the best choice for memory care."
The place is a neat, unscented house. However, it lacked engaging happenings for my mother. Some residents I met were good people, but full of more energy than Mom. I'm unsure if it's the best choice for her considering this. The way they take care of those with memory issues wasn't clear to me. The base price every month is $4,000, but it could rise if Mom needs extra help. It feels too uncertain.

"Unwelcoming facility with lack of services and profit-oriented management."
Avoid this center at all costs. It's not a welcoming environment. They don't allow visitors or casual chats. and There's no friendly greetings. There's no cable TV and absolutely no activities to keep you entertained. The management only seems to care about profit, monitoring electricity usage and keeping a tight budget on food supplies. Don't bother coming here.

"Stay Away: Unfriendly and Stingy Assisted Living Facility"
Avoid this place at all costs. It has an unfriendly vibe. There's no time for visits, conversations or even basic courtesy. They don't offer cable and there are no fun activities offered. The owner only cares about the bottom line and monitors the use of electricity and keeps a firm check on the food budget. It's not worth it.

"Attractive Home Mistreats Residents While Owner Only Cares About Profit"
I sadly had the displeasure of helping a lady with dementia move into this facility. I work with adult family homes, specifically in King county, and my job involves regularly visiting and evaluating these homes. At face value, this home looked perfect. The building was beautiful and the home's owner, she, seemed very welcoming but quickly, I found out the truth was different. Don't be fooled, looks can be very deceptive and she seems to only view potential residents as dollar signs. She is one of the slyest home owners I've worked with. My organization and I try to find homes for older folks on medicaid. Therefore, the payment comes from us directly. For the lady I had helped moved in, I had thoroughly discussed her specific needs with her and agreed on a daily payment rate for her care. She seemed happy to have the lady stay. It was decided she'd share a room which we thought was a good fit. All paperwork was set and the lady moved in. But the next day, she started calling the lady's family asking for more money on top of what we had agreed on. Not only that, she kept pestering our office for more money each day! When the family refused to pay extra, she turned to creating lies about the lady in an attempt to get more money. When she realized she wasn't getting more, she tried to evict her. Furthermore, the lady was really calm and quiet before she moved in. Now, she is dealing with serious behavioral issues and keeps asking to leave because she feels undesired. I strongly discourage choosing this home for your loved ones! It's a pretty house but the care is far from adequate. She seems driven by money and not by the care for the elderly. It's quite shocking to witness the constant deception and daily nuisance calls from the owner. Please save your loved ones from this nightmare. She just doesn't understand how to take care of those with dementia.

"Misleading Assisted Living Home Prioritizes Profit Over Elderly Care"
I sadly had a bad experience placing a lady suffering from dementia in this assisted living home. I deal with adult family homes in King County every day and tour many homes in the area. On the surface, this one looked promising - it had a nice appearance, and the owner, seemed very pleasant. But appearances can be deceptive. It quickly became obvious that this owner was only interested in money, thinking only of how much she could make from the vulnerable people she was supposed to be caring for. Despite our careful discussions and agreements regarding a particular resident's care needs the payment, which would come directly from my company, soon began to cause problems. She called the resident's family requesting more money, above the agreed amount, and began to pester our office daily for additional funds. When the family refused, started fabricating stories about the resident. She even chose to evict the resident when she couldn't get more money. Before moving to this home, the resident was quiet and calm. However, her time there has resulted in major behavioral issues, and she's asked repeatedly to move somewhere else, claiming she feels unwelcome. I want to stress I don't advise considering this home for your loved one. Though the house may look nice, the care provided is not. Seems to prioritize money over the well-being of the residents. Her dishonest behavior and constant phone calls are unprofessional and disrespectful. Furthermore, from my experience, it appears that she lacks the knowledge needed to care for elderly residents, particularly those with dementia.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Small, quiet facility with attentive owner and talkative atmosphere."
Recently renovated. Only one resident. A live-in caretaker is present but wasn't available during my appointment because it was the caretaker's day off. The owner lives next door and is VERY talkative. Overall, a good option.

"Quiet, renovated, attentive caretaker, chatty owner. Great choice for seniors."
This place is newly redone. There's only one person staying there. The caretaker lives in and wasn't around when I visited, plus the person I was supposed to meet wasn't there either. But the owner lives nearby and is super chatty. Overall, it's a good option.
