"Clean, friendly community with staff reconnecting with old friends"
The community is really clean, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming to my loved ones. Some staff members even knew my loved one from when she was younger, so she was able to reconnect with them here. Based on my experience, I would recommend this place to others.

"Dietary and Meal Supervision Issues"
Right now, they don't have special food options for people with trouble swallowing. Unless they've changed from soft food to something better, it's not available. The nurse also needs to check if they can watch and help people during meals with reminders.

"Clean, Fun, and Great Meal Choices"
We didn’t see many residents since it was midday, but we did spot some folks playing cards in the game room. The place was very clean and had lots of activities for the residents. I loved that there were many meal options. One of my favorites.

"Clean and Informative, but Not Quite the Right Fit"
I had a good tour of Washington Oakes Retirement Community. The place was clean, and the tour guide gave a lot of useful information. It seemed nice, but it wasn’t quite what I needed.

"A Great Place for Mom: WA Oakes Assisted Living"
My wife and I researched places in Washington for my mom. She was recovering from medical issues in Arizona and wanted to live closer to family. We visited several places to help her decide. All the places were similar in terms of room sizes, meals, services, transportation, and activities. Monthly rent varied a lot. Watch out for the "Community Fee" – some places charged as much as $4000! Each place had different fees for assistance services. Food quality ranged from okay to really good. At WA Oakes, the meals were excellent! Their rent was competitive, and they offered free anytime transportation. They didn't overcharge for community fees, which was a relief. My mom chose WA Oakes because of the friendly atmosphere and great people. It was our top pick too! If you're looking for a place like this, visit WA Oakes – you won't be disappointed.

"Friendly Staff and Supportive Management at Washington Oaks"
My mom recently moved to Washington Oaks Retirement Community in Everett, WA. The staff and residents have been friendly since day one. The management is helpful, making it easier for her to connect with others and enjoy activities. I learned about this place from Katie at A Place for Mom. She was wonderfully supportive when I was upset and confused after my mom’s strokes. Great job, Katie, and everyone at Washington Oaks! Mom’s been there five days and is very pleased.

"Nice place with friendly staff and good activities."
We just moved my mom in, and it seems great. The unit is nice, the staff is friendly, and there are many activities. The price is also fair compared to other places we saw. She’s still getting used to the big change, but we hope she will do well.

"Carpet Concerns at Washington Oakes"
Mom likes Washington Oakes Retirement Community. She joins a few activities, but there's an issue with her room's carpet. It needs replacing, and no action has been taken. Overall, we're content, but this area needs attention. .
