"Friendly Staff, Needs Updates: Convenient and Welcoming Assisted Living Choice"
The staff is kind and caring to residents, though updates needed. Chose for proximity and friendly atmosphere.

"Disappointed Parent Cites Negligence and Attitude Issue at Arbor View"
I had to take my mom or dad out of this place that helps people who have trouble remembering things. The workers didn't really know what they were doing, and some didn't know anything at all. It seemed like they didn't really care about this part of their building. Compared to the place nearby, this place has no fun activities. They seemed to forget about keeping the place clean and nice. This place was just really not up to par. When I tried to talk about my worries — like machines not working, meals being kinda bad, and the place not being comfy — they didn't really listen or seem to care. With the money that this place costs, I thought it would have some basic things for sure. But it really didn't. The workers the Arbor View showed me didn't act like they cared about my mom or dad, people like them, or their different kinds of needs at all. It seemed like this mean and not caring attitude came from the big bosses. When I tried to give them some advice, they acted like they were being attacked. I'm just really not happy with this place.

"Reviewer praises staff and location but notes higher cost."
I found the staff at Arbor View friendly during the tour. It's slightly pricier, but proximity to home matters most.

"Not the Best Fit for Our Unique Needs"
My loved one's situation was pretty unique, and this facility wasn't the best fit for us. I visited twice a week and saw the staff interact with other residents, and they seemed to do very well. The director tried, but it just wasn't right for us. The facility itself is up to date and modern. To be fair, I think it was a mix of my loved one being a bit more resistant and challenging, and the staff not having or taking the extra time he needed to cooperate and make his care successful. We decided to move my loved one to another facility, and things are much better now. Much better. I know our situation is a little different, and I don't want to discourage others from considering this place. Just sharing our experience and feedback. Especially for those looking for care for a loved one who may need more patience and time.

"Friendly Staff and Acceptance for Dad"
Arbor View was decent. It cost a bit more than others. But they accepted my Dad when no one else would. The staff was really friendly.

"Better Food and Fair Price at Arbor View"
Our loved one says the food is much better here at Arbor View than at their previous community. We also think the price is pretty fair.

"Staff Overwhelmed and Underprepared During COVID at Assisted Living"
During our time at the assisted living facility, the staff seemed very overwhelmed and not very skilled, especially with COVID. They didn't have the right plans to stop the virus from spreading.

"Friendly Staff and Fun Activities at Assisted Living Facility"
I come here a lot to see my loved one, and the staff is always nice and helpful. The other residents are friendly too, and they have fun activities like an open bar once a month. Sometimes they go on outings to the store or other places. They probably have a calendar to keep everyone informed about what's happening. My only suggestion is that they could use better ingredients in the food they serve—it's not great. But overall, everything seems fine.

"Kind staff helped mom adjust and feel welcome at Arbor View"
The staff at Arbor View really took care of my mom. They made her feel welcome by learning how to help with her colostomy bag and being friendly and patient while she adjusted to her new home.
