My stay at Bria of Trinity Village was more than disappointing. Upon arrival, I discovered the bed hadn't been changed and was dirty. It seemed the nurses didn't routinely use gloves or alcohol wipes when changing my IV, only after I left them a note. Anytime my IV machine would go off, I'd ring my buzzer but it took forever for someone to come. The facility always seemed short-staffed. Getting help to use the restroom took excessively long; sometimes I had to find an employee in the hall, or once, even call my daughter. On two occasions, I was given incorrect medication, a dosage far exceeding what I was supposed to receive. Thank goodness I knew what I should have been taking, but what about those who wouldn't? The food was consistently lukewarm or cold. Once, I even found a piece of plastic in my mashed potatoes. I felt violation of my privacy when a male nurse was tending to me; I believe female patients should be cared for by female nurses. On one occasion, the same male nurse brought my pills while I was in the bathroom and entered without my consent. Their system for alerting someone in case of a medical emergency was ineffective as help wouldn't arrive immediately. My experience worsened when some of my items went missing after a short stay at the hospital. Bria refused to replace my missing items. The social worker, tried to replace the missing items with different items, but they weren't what I lost. I asked my grandson to repurchase the correct items and handed over the receipt to for reimbursement, but was declined. Moreover, there were nights I wasn't given my medication, and their solution was simply giving it to me in the morning instead. I'm still in a battle to get my money back. Regrettably, only a handful of staff seemed to care. I would never return to this facility." [[Deplorable Conditions and Neglect at Bria Assisted Living Facility]]

"Better Than Most Nursing Homes, Great Care"
The nursing home here is better than many others. The nurses really care and make sure the residents are well looked after. If my family needed short-term rehab, I’d definitely choose this place again.

"Awful Place Lacks Professionalism and Proper Resident Care"
This place totally lacks professionalism! Everyone there made me nauseous. The front desk worker, nurses, and CNA's all behaved really badly, and didn't even dress right for work, wearing leggings and swearing at each other with the residents right there. The residents definitely didn't seem well-cared for. No way would I ever let my pet or teddy bear live there, much less my family members! #NO STARS=BAD QUALITY!

"Shocking Conduct at Assisted Living Home - Zero Stars Deserved"
This place lacks any sign of professionalism! It's horrendous to witness the staff, including the receptionist, nurses, and the CNAs, acting so disrespectfully. They roam around in inappropriate attire like leggings and even go to the extent of cursing amongst each other in front of the residents. What's even worse, it doesn’t seem like the residents get the care they need. Honestly, I couldn't bear seeing even my pet or child's toy living in such conditions, let alone my beloved family members! Zero stars would be more accurate for this substandard facility!

"Complete Neglect at Understaffed Assisted Living Facility"
I wouldn't dream of letting my mom stay there. I dropped by to see my buddy the other day, and the lack of care was glaring. They're seriously understaffed.

"Bright Assisted Living with Weekly Catholic Mass"
We're excited to secure a recently renovated one-bedroom apartment, possibly moving in by mid-October. The apartment is bright and cheerful, featuring central air conditioning (not window units). Additionally, there's a Catholic Mass every Wednesday morning that my friend wants to attend.

"Absolutely Worst Assisted Living Facility Experience"
This is the worst residential care you can imagine for your dear one. Employees evade queries, fail to return calls, and shy away from the rooms while you're there. Most of them only seem interested in their paychecks and aren't pleasant to interact with. You can't tell who's who because they don't wear name tags. Our relative suffered numerous severe bedsores and infections with no one providing clear answers. They are terrified of being here, feeling something bad might happen to them. It feels like there's no way out of this situation.

"Avoid This Facility At All Costs - Unsatisfactory Care"
This place is the absolute worst for your dear ones. The people who work here dodge questions, ignore calls, and even avoid the room when you visit. Most of them seem to have a poor attitude and look like they're merely here for the wages. Nobody wears a nametag, so we never know who's entering the room. Our family member had to deal with several severe bed sores and infections here, and no one would give us straight answers. They're scared to stay here and believe something bad is being done to them intentionally. We're at our wit's end.

"Trinity Rehab Neglects Medication and Disrespects Patients"
My mom stayed in Assisted Living for 17 months. They consistently messed up, not giving her a particular medication for two whole weeks, and overlooking two doctor's visits that they were meant to schedule travel for. Following a hospital visit, Mom ended up in the Trinity Rehab. They wanted her to stay an extra week; seemed to me like they just wanted another check from Medicare. Her new living space is already giving her the same physical therapy. When the time came for transportation to bring Mom to her new place, they sent her off in her hospital robe rather than her own clothes from her closet!

"Avoid Trinity Assisted Living for your loved ones' well-being."
Addressing the situation at Trinity Assisted Living was overwhelming and frustrating. My mother, a resident there for 17 months, suffered several lapses in her care. The staff "forgot" to provide a specific medication for a fortnight and also neglected to schedule transportation for at least 2 of her doctor appointments. After a hospital stay, Mom was moved to Trinity's rehab unit for a week and they attempted to extend her stay for another week. This, in my view, was only to squeeze an additional payment from Medicare. Especially because her new residence provides the same physical therapy without a halt. The final straw was when they transferred my mom to her new location, wearing her hospital gown even though she had a wardrobe full of regular clothes in her room at Trinity!

"Gorgeous, clean place with minor parking issue."
It's a gorgeous place! It's very clean and the restaurant looks great. I've even borrowed some ideas from them for my own home. My aunt, who lives there and can drive sometimes, mentioned a small issue with parking. But that's the only complaint, and it's a minor one.

"Convenient Assisted Living Facility with Room for Improvement"
When choosing an assisted living facility, it's wise to visit a few to compare. Look for things on your list, like transportation, dining areas, and laundry facilities. My needs changed a bit, but I found satisfaction overall. However, not every apartment had its own washer and dryer, which I would have preferred. Some units did have dishwashers, but mine didn't, which wasn't a big deal for me. I liked that the facility was in a familiar area close to my family.

"Finding the Right Assisted Living"
Make sure to visit more than one place to see what you like. Write down what you need, like rides, a place to eat, or your own laundry machines. Your needs might change, but it’s good to know what you want. I liked most things about where I live, but I wish I had a laundry machine in my apartment. I didn’t get a dishwasher, but that’s okay because I didn’t really need it (though some apartments have them). I also picked this place because it’s in a neighborhood I know and it’s near my family.
