"Dad’s Participation Challenges in Assisted Living"
Memory care runs very smoothly for my Mom. The activities and food are good, and the staff is awesome. However, my Dad, who lives in assisted living, sometimes creates his own problems by not going to the dining hall for meals or participating much.

"Great staff, but communication needs improvement"
The staff at Dimensions are awesome, from housekeeping to caregivers and administration. One thing that could be better is communication. It's hard to get info from the previous shift or day.

"Mixed Experience: Nice but Not Top Choice Due to Location"
It was okay, but not our top pick. My folks didn't like it because it's near the Appleton airport and the noise from planes bothered them. We really liked another place in Appleton, but they had a long waitlist. They said lots of people from independent living were moving to assisted living there. We also liked another place, but their memory care building was separate, which wasn't good for my parents. My mom's not very strong and my dad has early stage dementia. I hope this helps.

"Inconsistent Care"
If you need more than basic care, this isn't the right place. It's tough to get the consistent care my loved one requires. The care they promised isn't what they deliver.

"Mixed Reviews: Great Nurses, Room for Improvement in Management"
It's a good place for dementia care. The head nurse is great, but the director isn't. The visiting doctor is excellent, and they're why I stayed.

"Not Quite the Right Fit"
When we went to Dimensions, they had a new director. The place was nice, but it didn't suit my loved one—it felt a bit too noisy and chaotic.

"Smaller Rooms, Friendly Staff"
We took a virtual tour of this place, and it seemed really nice. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. However, the rooms were smaller than what we wanted.

"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living Experience"
It's convenient to live independently here. You have your own room and can join meals and outings. It's reassuring to have care options as needs change. It feels more like an apartment complex than a nursing home. Many residents are active. One resident made a welcoming wreath for my loved one. Others are friendly, greeting you as you pass. Staff are generally friendly but understaffed. Communication can be challenging due to this. Meals are good, though portions could be bigger. They offer balanced meals with fruits, salads, and more. I'm glad to see my loved one active with activities like bingo and stretching. They have diverse activities like a men's coffee group and religious gatherings.
