"Pricey Assisted Living Facility Provides Bad Experience"
We had a pretty bad experience. The place was way too costly. They had convinced me that my mom was perfect for their assisted living.

"Spacious Layout Wins"
Our family visited Brookdale Madison West for an in-person tour. The tour was pleasant, but we preferred the spacious, open layout and room arrangement

"Good Facility, Could Improve Communication and Activities"
My dad lives at Brookdale Madison West. The place is clean and the staff are around and helpful. The building looks nice and welcoming. I wish the staff would give me more updates about my dad. They should also take the residents outside more often and maybe have some monthly outings. Overall, things have been pretty good at this facility.

"Assisted Living Like a Hotel, Friendly Staff During Tour"
The room was kinda like a hotel room, with the fancy heating and air conditioner in the walls. The people who worked there were nice when I checked out the place.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
I believe that because they are understaffed, like many others, some things have been overlooked here, especially in terms of care and cleanliness. The housekeeping isn't very thorough. The staff is friendly, but communication with families could be better. They offer a good variety of activities, and the food is of good quality with a nice selection. Overall, I would recommend this facility to friends and family. Among all the places I checked out, this one stood out as the best in the area.

"Disappointed by Lack of Care: Moved Loved One Elsewhere"
My family member got sick twice in six weeks, and I was the one who noticed it, not the workers. That made me really upset. So, we had to find a different place for them to live.

"Nursing Staff Ignored Infected Wound, Contributing to Mom's Death"
My mom died there, partly because of an infected wound. The nurses didn't even try to do a turning schedule to stop it, even though they told me they knew she was sleeping all day.
