"Assisted Living Facility Review"
The moving process was tough. Staff didn't communicate well, and they gave us mixed messages about the level of care. They promised they could take care of my dad, but they couldn't. Now he's in hospice care, which is sad. But the care he's receiving is great! The place is nice and okay for seniors who can mostly take care of themselves.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
Our family visited in person. It's a great place, super clean and neat. But it's huge, and we worry Mom couldn't get to the dining room alone. Also, they asked for six months' rent upfront, which was a lot of money.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
This place is really clean and tidy. They take out Mom's trash every day and clean her room once a week. The common areas look nice too. Most of the people who work there are friendly and helpful. But, sometimes they take forever to reply to emails or phone messages. Mom hates the meals here. She says they don't know how to make a good balanced meal. Guests can't eat in the dining area because of Covid-19, but they still stick to that rule. Even though I'm vaccinated, I can't say anything about the food. Mom's tired of cheese sandwiches. They offer some activities, which seem okay. The price is high, but that's expected for a good assisted living place. If they served better meals, it would be worth it.

"Friendly and Caring Staff, Great Experience Overall"
I recommend checking out this community. We've had a great experience with our loved one here. We're still getting used to everything, and sometimes there are small issues, but we understand since it's a big company and they're short-staffed. Communication can be slow at times, but overall, things are great. The staff are very friendly, compassionate, and caring.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is okay. The meals could be better. It’d be nice if they got a new chef for tastier food. The staff is mostly good, but the nurse who acts as the ‘doctor on site’ is hard to schedule with and tough to reach. Residents can enjoy activities like bingo, movies, and church. They also offer physical and occupational therapy.

"Expensive with staff challenges, pandemic restrictions affecting visitation."
The community is pricey, like most. Some staff are tough due to being busy. During move-in, Asian beetles filled our loved one's room. Pandemic limits visits; I've only seen them twice.

Nice place, great tour guide, but couldn't take husband. Chose elsewhere.

"Wish They Didn't Nickel and Dime!"
My mom recently moved into this place, and things have been okay so far. The staff in the memory care unit help her with everyday stuff and the transition to her new home. She likes the meals and activities. But I'm not happy they keep adding extra charges to her bill.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Move-In Process"
My dad is doing okay, and the care is really good. The staff, food, and care are excellent. I only had one issue. Getting an apartment was more than just putting a deposit down. I ended up paying for 3 weeks of care, but Dad hadn't moved in yet. He wasn't allowed to move in because he didn't pass the assessment. He moved in after his contract date, but I think this was an unfair business practice.

"Good care, but unfair contract"
My dad is doing okay, and the care is really good. The staff, food, and care are excellent. I have only had one issue. "Procuring an apartment" was more than putting a deposit on the place. "Oakridge Assisted Living Lacks Adequate Care and Overcharges"
While Oakridge has pretty buildings and many activities for seniors, my mom barely leaves her room, even for food. She and her room reek of pee, and it’s shameful to see her look so unkempt. They clearly need more staff to help out. Also, the bills for extra services keep coming, even though she's not getting any of those services. My mom's savings are quickly disappearing due to these unprovided services!

"Bad Care at Oakridge, Not Worth the Cost"
Oakridge is nice and all, with their fancy services and pretty place. There's lots of stuff old folks could do. BUT, my mom is almost always stuck in her room, she doesn't even come out for food nowadays. Her room and she herself reek of pee, and the way she looks is just heartbreaking. They DON'T HAVE ENOUGH STAFF! And yet, they keep charging for extra services. We're running out of mom's money, all spent on things they never really did!
