"Disappointed in Facility: Untrained Staff and Poor Living Conditions"
Sadly, the employees at this facility seem lacking in proper training. They appear to hire people with minimal, or even zero, experience. It's alarming that a nurse is not present on staff daily - they might only appear once a month for brief vital checks. Moreover, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The staff's professionalism is questionable. As for my dad's room, it often remained unclean, with messes on the bathroom floor. More upsettingly, his bedding frequently contained dirty absorbent pads; instead of changing them, staff would just yank blankets over the mattress.

"Facility Fails to Meet Alzheimer’s Care Needs"
My mom lives at this place because she has serious Alzheimer’s. We were told they could take good care of her. But, it turns out, the people working there don’t really know how to handle it when she gets upset and doesn’t listen. They keep calling us to help calm her down. They even sent her to a special place to figure out better ways to take care of her, and she got some medicine too. But we still get calls to come by every day in the afternoon because they can’t manage her. It’s tough when we have jobs. We thought that’s what the place was for, to help her with stuff like taking baths and changing clothes. But she often smells bad because they can’t get her to do these things. It seems like they’re not trained for Alzheimer’s care. My brother and I feel like we made a mistake choosing this place. They seem okay with people who don’t move much and are easy-going, not like our mom. Also, they said the building was just for people with memory problems, but that’s not true. There are others there who don’t have these issues, and it’s not good when they’re around my mom. We feel sorry for them. We’re now looking for a new place that really knows how to care for people with Alzheimer’s. We’re sad we have to move her again, but this place isn’t right for her. We hope they get better at explaining what they can do or train their staff better for Alzheimer’s patients. Thank you.
