"Assisted Living Lacks Fun; New Management Dodges Bad Reviews"

It's really sad to see how the people living there just sit around with nothing to do. They don't have any fun activities for them. The person who represents the place seems to only appreciate the good reviews from before they took over. But if someone leaves a bad review, they try to pretend it was before they were in charge. Seems pretty sneaky to me.

"Cozy Assisted Living with Friendly Staff, Limited Privacy Options"

The place is in a nice spot, and the workers are really nice and act like pros. But it's not just for folks with memory problems, so they have to wear ankle monitors to stay safe. Plus, there aren't many rooms that are all yours, with their own bathrooms.

"Overall a positive experience"

This place really helped my mom get in, even though they couldn't give her a room with a window. They said she can move to one when it's available. They have activities like bingo, field trips, and games. My mom likes the food, and I think it's healthy. But the building looks like an old school, not a retirement home. I'd recommend it to other families.

"Great Walk-In Tour, Friendly Staff, Perfect for Mom!"

I've been looking for an assisted living home for my mom for a few weeks. Scheduling tours around everyone else's schedules can be tricky. I noticed that Country View had a sign for walk-in tours, so I decided to visit. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and it only took about 2 minutes for someone to show me around. I liked that they offer different room sizes and layouts. They even have a whirlpool tub with jets, which my mom would love! The information the staff gave me was very helpful. I'm excited to move my mom in.

"Disappointing facility failing to provide decent care."

This place is awful. I wouldn't bring my worst rival here. It's sad seeing all the people living there who truly deserve much better care.

"Unimaginably Awful Care Home"

This facility is atrocious. Not even my biggest rival deserves this. It's just sad to observe the neglected residents who are entitled for enhanced care.

"Avoid this Facility: Unpleasant and Smoking-Ridden"

This place is awful. The people who work here are not nice and they don't seem to know anything about taking care of health. There aren't many things to do here. It looks like residents' only pastime is smoking outdoors. The moment you step in, you are hit with a bad smell and it gives off a strong feel of being institutional. I wouldn't suggest anyone to come here.

"Disastrous Management and Neglectful Care at Assisted Living Facility"

This place is simply dreadful! I walked in, and I couldn't believe what I saw - management wasn't even dressed appropriately, wearing flip-flops no less. On top of that, they were struggling to get a resident up off the floor without using a gait belt. The resident was sliding everywhere, struggling for support. The manager was far from professional, with an apparent disregard for the residents' needs. The troubling part is that there was an extremely high turnover rate with their employees, and it seemed they were always short-staffed. When residents asked management questions, they were ignored or disregarded. I had no choice - I had to move my mother out of there as quickly as I could. I wouldn’t even recommend this place to a homeless person, let alone someone's loved one.

"Understaffed Facility with Negligent Management"

This facility is really terrible. I visited and noticed that the manager wasn't dressed appropriately, wearing flip flops! She was trying to help a resident off the floor without a gait belt, causing the resident to wildly slide around. The manager revealed herself to be very unprofessional as she doesn't appear invested in the needs of the residents. There's a continual cycle of staff coming and going, leaving the place constantly understaffed. Whenever residents ask questions, the management just walks by without a response. I had to urgently move my mom from there. I wouldn't even recommend this facility to someone without a home.

"Acceptable Assisted Living Facility, But Struggling with Individualized Care"

My family member, who has dementia, has lived at Country View for 2 years. She's been there for help with things like medications, meals, bathing and doing her laundry. When she was still able to talk and walk by herself, she was doing well there. The staff is plentiful and generally friendly. For someone who can take care of themselves and express their needs to the staff, and who benefits from not being alone, the setting is quite stimulating. But she recently had a fall and stomach problems, and the personalized care she needed as a result hasn't been sufficient. It's hard to get in touch with the visiting doctor program, so we'll be looking to move her somewhere else soon.

"Great care and food at Country View!"

Overall, my time at Country View has been great. The staff are friendly, caring, and professional. They pay attention to the residents' needs and communicate well with families. My loved one also enjoys the food!

"Facility Lacks Independent Living Units and Offers Only Shared Rooms"

This place doesn't have separate apartment-style living that my mother, who can still take care of herself, needs. One day, my dad, who's dealing with memory loss, will need more help. I thought based on what we'd discussed, there would be small, individual living areas but this place only has shared rooms and bathrooms.

"Tour Experience Disappointing; Cleanliness and Care Lacking in Facility"

It was really, really sad. I actually cried when we got out of there. We had made an appointment to go take a tour, and when we were on the tour, there were some things that made me uncomfortable. An old lady was trying to reach down and get something that she dropped, and the girl giving us the tour just walked right by. Later, there was a lady yelling help me, and I told the girl we understand if she needs to go do something, and she just said Oh, she'll be fine! It made me uncomfortable that our tour was more important than a resident. Personally, I think it sucked, and the people living there were there because they didn't have a choice. It wasn't clean. I wouldn't put my pet snake in there!

"Heartbreaking Visit to Neglected Assisted Living Facility"

The visit to the assisted living facility was really upsetting. I was so touched, I cried when we left the place. We had scheduled a visit to look around, and during the tour, we saw some incidents that bothered me. An elderly lady was struggling to pick up something she had dropped, and our tour guide didn't even stop to help her. Later, we heard another resident crying out for help, but our guide just brushed it off, suggesting our tour was more crucial than taking care of the residents. Honestly, I was completely disappointed with the facility. It appeared the seniors were stuck there because they had no other option. The place wasn't even clean. I wouldn't want my pet snake to stay there!

"Heartbreaking Experience at Awful Assisted Living Facility"

OMG, this place was so bad! I'm not trying to be mean, but seriously, I almost cried when I left. I felt really sorry for the people who live there. It was just terrible! I would give it a negative 10 if I could.

"Geez! This Place was Seriously Awful!"

Geez! This place was AWFUL! I hate to be super tough, but truly, I was crying in my car thinking about the poor folks who live there. Made me really sad. If I could, I'd give this place a minus 10.

"Spacious Assisted Living with Amenities"

The assisted living facility has a newer building with spacious rooms. They offer a dining room, a family visiting area, and allow smoking outside upon request. The staff is small, and they have elevators. Assisted living services include meals, phone/cable access, and transportation to appointments. They also accept family care.

"New Facility, Decent Rooms, Allows Birds, Limited Staff"

The facility is pretty new with spacious rooms. There's a dining room and a place for family to visit. Smoking is allowed outside if you ask. The staff isn't big, but there are elevators. It's only for assisted living. Birds are allowed. There's a licensed and registered nurse available. They provide three meals a day, phone and cable, personal items, and take you to your appointments. They also accept family care for those living here.
