We're really happy with this place. The staff is awesome, the community is clean, and they really take care of the residents, making sure they're safe. The food is pretty good, they post the menu online, and they give big portions.

"Very Happy with This Assisted Living Community"
We really like this community and the people here. We’re very happy with everything they’ve done for us and my mother-in-law. The place looks great and is well-kept. The staff is wonderful, kind, and helpful. Communication is excellent; we can call anytime. The activities are fantastic my mother-in-law enjoys playing bingo and likes the food. Our experience has been great, and we’d definitely recommend this community.

"Family Seeks Better Care for Mom at Assisted Living"
We’re really let down by this place. My mom feels alone and bored all the time. New workers keep showing up, and a lot of them aren’t nice. There aren’t many fun things to do, and the folks here hardly ever get to go outside because there aren’t enough workers around. Plus, it’s weird that they expect people to remember stuff in a place that’s supposed to help with memory. Every time we visit, which is a lot, we find something else to worry about. Like, my mom might only get help taking a shower once a week, even though they’re supposed to do it twice. If she’s not up for it, she has to wait until the next week. They say they watch what people eat, but I don’t think that’s true. My mom’s not supposed to eat greens, but they still give her salads. She can’t always remember that she shouldn’t eat them because of her Dementia. I could go on with more problems, but this review would get too long. We’re on the lookout for a new place where my mom can get the care she really deserves. And you should want that for your family, too.

"Unhappy with Assisted Living Facility's Insufficient and Rude Care"
My mom's experience here has been a letdown! She feels isolated and unengaged due to the lack of activities. New faces pop up in the staff all the time, some of whom aren't friendly. Not enough employees are on hand for the residents to enjoy outdoor time. It's also strange that the residents' memory is relied upon in a place designed for memory care. My brothers, sisters, and I visit regularly and find new worries every time. For instance, Mom often only receives assistance for showering or bathing once a week, despite scheduling twice-a-week aid. If they're unwell, they're made to wait until the next week. They claim to be mindful of the residents' personalised dietary needs, but I've seen proof that's not the case. For example, even though Mom shouldn't eat green vegetables, she's been served lettuce salad for dinner. Given her Dementia, she may not recall that she's not supposed to eat it. There's much more to share, but wrapping up it up here. We're now scouting for a better living facility for Mom, where she can have the kind of care she needs. Your loved ones deserve good care too!

"Great care, friendly staff, clean facility, and easy navigation"
Grand Horizons does a fantastic job. The staff are always friendly, and their meal service seems really good! The place is always clean and looks nice. We liked that it's a smaller community, which makes it easier for our loved one to get around.

Grand Horizons does a really good job. The people who work there are super nice, and it seems like they serve really good food! The building is always clean and looks really nice. It's not too big, which is something we liked because it's easier for our family member to get around.
