"Friendly staff and good food, but communication and tech help needed"
I would really like to know how my loved one is adjusting to the daily routines, especially since we live out of state and can’t visit often. I guess it's up to me to ask about this. Also, they’ll be adding WIFI soon. It would be helpful to have a tech person on staff to assist residents with setting up their email or TV, as some people find these things confusing depending on their services. The staff and residents are very friendly, and the food is really good. Services are available if the resident feels comfortable asking for them. It would be helpful to have some beginner tutorials or meetings with specific topics. They do have meetings for new residents, but residents have to bring up their own topics. Newcomers might not know what they need to ask about, so maybe involving a relative could be useful. Lastly, residents are assigned a buddy who has been there for a while. The buddy was very kind, but my loved one wasn’t very responsive. They were hesitant to leave their home.

"Assisted Living Restrictions Make Place Feel Like Hospital, Not Home"
Hartpark has too many rules. Can't have bird feeders outside. Feels like hospital, not fun place to live.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Location"
I wasn't too impressed with the tour. The guide was awesome, but the building overlooked a noisy city utility yard. Location was a problem.
