"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
We've been to respite care before. The place was convenient for our family, but I wouldn't go back there. The call button response was slow, they didn't have enough staff, and the quality of care was often disappointing due to communication problems.

"High Priced but Friendly"
We visited this community, and it felt elegant and welcoming. The tour went well, and the staff was super friendly. However, the price was too high for us at the time.

"Caring Staff and Great Outdoor Spaces"
The staff here is really nice and caring. They take the time to understand the residents and what they need. I talked to the Chef, and he was super helpful with allergies and food choices. The rooms are a good size. They also have walking paths and outdoor areas for the residents to enjoy.

"Headline: "Unsatisfactory Care and Staff Shortage at Assisted Living Facility""
My brother-in-law was placed in the Enhanced assisted living facility and I'm left with no words but DON'T send your loved ones here. The nursing director was very disrespectful. When my brother-in-law needed assistance for a diaper change, they just switched off his call necklace and told him they'd find help. This would leave him waiting uncomfortably in his soiled diaper for twenty minutes. If it was close to mealtime, he'd have to wait until after that. It's evident they just don't have enough staff members. Worst of it all, he developed a bedsore. This experience has been terrible. I could continue with the list of faults, but I hope this serves as warning enough to steer clear of placing your loved ones here.

"Stunning Looks, Poor Service: My Warning About This Care Home"
This "care home" demands caution. Don't get me wrong, it looks perfect. The rooms are tidy, the dining areas are welcoming, and it's easy to imagine your loved ones fitting right in. When your parents or partner need that extra care, finding a beautiful, trustworthy place is a top priority. But hear me out if you're thinking about this place. Good care isn't something you can buy, especially when a place is poorly run. Keep an eye out for some shocking news about this facility. We had high hopes for my Dad when he moved in after his hospital stay. Honestly, we didn't realize he was so close to end of his life. What we do know is my Dad was left in his Sunday best clothes, completely soaked, until Monday when my Mom found him like this. When it comes to comforting my Mom, the only thing I can say is that this place is garbage. When my Dad passed, they dared charge my Mom for a care bracelet that never left their facility. They probably forgot to remove it in their rush to send off his body. Can you find just a few good caregivers there? Likely, but their good work gets overshadowed by the negatives. Still want to choose this place? Well, if you do, I'll be praying that your experience doesn't turn out like ours.

"Facility Remodeling Soon; Staff is Pleasant"
The facility is about to remodel to make the service areas bigger. This might be a bit disruptive. The staff seems nice.

The facility is brand new and beautiful. They are still finishing up some work. The foyer is very welcoming. They don’t have any enhanced assisted living residents yet. I liked the spacious studio rooms.

"Satisfactory Assisted Living Experience"
My mom's happy here, though maintenance is a bit sluggish. Her apartment's nice, folks are friendly, and she's making friends. They bond over meals and activities, and the place feels cozy.

"Great Tour Experience"
I thought the staff and the tour were really impressive. The memory care unit, with its 16 beds, was quite nice. They had several amenities for the residents. Unfortunately, they didn't have any availability at the time.

"Happy with Choice Despite High Costs"
I’m happy with our choice. I hope you’ll ask the same questions after my mom has been at Heritage for a few months. I gave a lower rating for value because assisted living is expensive.

"Not a Great Experience!"
The staff at Heritage seemed lacking during our tour. There was a faint odor, and it didn't appear very clean when we entered. Unfortunately, this community didn't suit Mom.

"Facing Issues with Staff and Limited Activities at Facility"
My time at this assisted living facility has been alright. However, I'm not pleased with the head nurse and some of the staff members. On the plus side, the place is tidy and the cleaning staff does a commendable job. I'm disappointed that there aren't many activities for residents in the memory care unit. I've planned a meeting with the director of care to sort out these issues.

"Heritage at Deer Creek Assistance Lacking Efficiency"
Having Disappointing Experiences with Heritage at Deer Creek Care" I may be jumping the gun here, and I really hope things will get better at Heritage at Deer Creek, but currently, my rating can’t be above 1.5 stars. Their way of handling visitors for the Memory Care unit is less than ideal. If you ring the bell, you're left hanging, waiting for anyone to come help. They could fix this by putting cameras on both sides of the entrance and have someone watch the cameras to swiftly open the door. Before we brought our loved one here, we had been assured they'd get help making their bed. From my experiences, that claim is dubious. Not only that, but we had also been told the facility would handle laundry, which, I think, includes stashing away clean clothes. Sadly I haven't observed this happening effectively either. The staff working on that level leaves much to be desired. They come across as rather unenthusiastic for my liking. They even change the TV channel from METV (which plays old sitcoms that our loved one enjoys) to something different without consulting anyone. The setting for the room temperature is never as we want it; we prefer it high since our loved one is prone to feeling cold. From what I've noticed, our loved one's bathing schedule might not be respected. The bath towel seemingly remains untouched. Lastly, it took an unreasonably long time to install electrical outlets. I don’t delight in criticizing, but if things don't change soon, my review won't change either.

"Top-Notch Assisted Living!"
This place is great. They made the outside pretty with fresh mulch under the trees. They're really good at doing what you request. They give us food, and our rooms are always clean and tidy. Plus, they take care of the laundry too!

"A Happy Home for Mom"
Mom is really happy at Heritage. She was nervous about moving from her condo, but it's been a month now. She likes having all the privacy she wants. She thinks the staff is very kind and caring. When she presses her call button, someone responds quickly and with a smile! The food is good, though she says they give her too much! Our family feels much less stressed, and it's great to visit and spend time with Mom instead of doing chores she can't do anymore. We also know that if she needs help, she doesn't have to wait for one of us to get there. The staff has been very responsive to any concerns we have. Our family and Mom highly recommend Heritage at Deer Creek.

"Caring staff and engaging environment for Mom!"
From the first visit to Heritage, we've been really impressed. The staff keeps us updated on all the activities our mom joins. When we email the nurses, they always reply within a day. Since Mom moved in about 4 weeks ago, she’s gained weight, which has been a blessing. She loves watching and chatting with the two birds there. Plus, the garden area gives her plenty of chances to plant things.

"A Gloomy Place with No Fun Activities and Uninformed Staff."
I paid a visit to this place when exploring my options. It felt pretty gloomy. I didn't notice any fun activities happening. The staff didn't appear to know a whole lot. I don't think this would be my top pick.

"Heritage at Deer Creek: A top-notch facility despite high prices"
On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best, I give Heritage at Deer Creek a 6. It's that great. Even though the prices are a bit high, I’m really happy with the services, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the good care.

"Happy with clean, friendly place and attentive staff"
Things are going well. We’re happy with the place. It's clean and odor-free. The patient-to-staff ratio is great. It's a smaller facility, so everyone is friendly and chatty. The staff is attentive and responsive; they call me if needed. They organize outings, like a Brewers game. The food seems good. The good reviews and waiting list made me feel confident.

"Best facility visit: warm, attentive, great follow-ups, ideal location"
I visited many assisted living and memory care places in one week and left happy. From the start, there was no unpleasant nursing home smell. The residents were laughing and engaged, with some working on their newsletter, others watching TV, and the staff being very attentive. I didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to explore different apartment layouts and ask questions. This Heritage facility was the only one that followed up with me the next day and again at the end of the week to thank me for my visit and see if I had any more questions. I was told my parents would be a welcome addition to their community, which really impressed me given my background in hospitality and customer service. Follow-ups are important as they show genuine interest and effort. Ivory and the team went out of their way to greet me warmly with smiles. The location is beautiful, quiet, park-like, yet conveniently close to grocery stores, restaurants, doctors, and the airport for visiting relatives.

"Clean, friendly, fair price, and 2-bedroom option!"
We're really happy with this place. It's super clean, and the staff are always nice. Our family hasn't joined in the activities yet, but they do have them. The cost is similar to other places nearby. It's a big step up in price from regular assisted living, but it’s still fair. They even found us a 2-bedroom apartment here, which is better than having to pay for two separate ones.

"Could Use More Activities and Outings"
The activities here could use some work. They should offer more variety and have more things to do. There aren’t many trips out, and I’d like to see more chances for residents to explore outside. It’s a quiet and private place, which is nice, but you can’t really walk anywhere from here. The building itself is great, and the caregivers and staff are very attentive and responsive. Overall, it’s a nice place.

"Fantastic Care and Activities A True Blessing!"
The price here is very reasonable. My mom doesn't need a lot of help, but the help she does get is great. They make sure she takes her medicine in the morning and afternoon, they handle her meals and cleaning, and they help her with showers if she needs it. They're really good at what they do. It’s been a huge relief for me. There are lots of activities, and even though my mom never used to join in, she goes to everything she can now! She adjusted right away.

"Conveniently Located and Scenic"
The community is very clean and feels like home. It’s very friendly, and we thought it was a good fit for my parents. It’s close to lots of shopping and fun things to do. It’s also in a really nice part of town. When you turn off the main road, the driveway has trees on both sides. When you get there, there’s a part with trees and a natural preserve. This place has a very scenic feel. The staff was very impressive, especially Ben Petterson. He did a great job answering all my questions. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones.

"Apartments Only, Unfurnished; Studio Price Includes Services; Memory Care Unprepared"
The facility only has apartments, no rooms with a bathroom. They're not ready to provide memory care yet. The doctor will need to declare that one cannot make their own decisions. The price of a studio includes a shower, housekeeping, laundry, medicine, and two meals a day. However, the apartments aren't furnished.
