"Displeased with False Advertising by Assisted Living Facility"
I was planning to shift my mom into the dementia care when she required additional assistance. However, they couldn't accept her due to some compliance problems. She had been in assisted living for many years and we were led to believe that moving her to dementia care won't be a problem. Upon discovering compliance problems, I wouldn't have had her stay there in the first place. This was extremely underwhelming. Seems like dishonest promotion or unrighteous ad tactics if you ask me.

"Heritage Middleton Visit: Unimpressed by Layout and Ambiance"
When my family visited Heritage Middleton in person, we really didn't appreciate the design. We saw too many people just sitting quietly in their wheelchairs in the corridors.

"Dissatisfied with Staffing and Management at Assisted Living Facility"
Entire staff and management switched out. They don't take care of my family member's simple dementia problems. The Memory Care area isn't taking in people because they don't have enough staff and there are problems with management. All decisions are made by the big bosses and not by the local medical staff.

"[[Cleaning Lacks, But Staff Is Very Nice and Caring"
The cleaning of the residents' apartments isn't very good. Even though the administrator says they do, the cleaning service doesn't dust, clean mirrors, or change bed sheets. It looks like they only sweep and vacuum the floors. However, the staff who work with the residents are very nice, friendly, and caring about each person's needs.

"Satisfactory Staffing and Cleanliness, Limited Activities During COVID"
The staff was nice, but more would have been better. It took too long to clean the bathroom floor around the toilet—sometimes until the next day. During COVID, there weren't any activities for my husband, and the cost seemed fair.

"Friendly staff, but lacking in memory care support"
Most of the staff were very friendly. But when it came to memory care and our loved one's health, it was just not the right place for them. Overall, the staff was always kind, but one nurse was rude and very impatient with the residents. However, some staff members were especially kind and caring. For memory care, they wanted a quick fix, but what was really needed was one-on-one time, patience, and distractions. Meals always looked good, and Mom usually finished her plate. There weren't enough activities to keep the residents entertained. It would have been great for them to tell stories, read books, sing songs, ask questions, and more. If there had been more planned activities and better-trained staff for memory care, it would have been better.

"Assisted Living Frustrations"
Our family member isn't happy there. All the fun stuff they liked got canceled. Plus, staff keeps coming into their room at the wrong time, even after we asked them not to.

"Assisted Living Review: Beautiful community with friendly staff, though food inconsistent."
This community is very attractive. They currently don't have enough staff. The food has varied in taste and quality. The staff are nice, easy to work with, and aim to make this place the best it can be. Included in the monthly fee are light cleaning, changing linens, laundry service, and meals. The community seems well kept, and maintenance requests from residents are handled quickly. Residents can choose from activities like crafts, exercise, flower arranging, using the library, and private rooms for celebrations.

"Price and availability made us choose another facility"
We did a virtual tour with Heritage Middleton. We were thinking about this place, but the 2 bedroom apartment we wanted got taken while we were deciding. Also, the price was higher than other places we looked at, so we didn't choose them.

"Friendly staff, good care, and affordable"
We chose Heritage Middleton because the staff is friendly, the care is good, and it is affordable. The room sizes are average compared to other places we looked at. I liked that the director is an RN, they have enough staff day and night, and the admissions director was very helpful. We had hospice care here, and the transition was smooth. I would recommend this place.

"Heritage Broke Promise to Elderly Friend on Medicaid"
This place may look nice on the outside, but it matters more about who's running it. The bosses here at Heritage can set their rules, but they shouldn't lie or suddenly switch things up. Our 87-year-old pal was told that if she paid for 6 months privately, Heritage would let her stay even when she started using Medicaid. The old top boss made this promise and the current sales boss heard him say it. Even though they admit this promise was made, Milo Pinkerton, the owner, claims, "Unless it's written down, a promise isn't a promise." Now, they've kicked out our friend after she used all her money at Heritage. So don't believe their lies and promises. Even their motto is fake: "We treat residents like family; trust us with your loved one.

"Engaging Assisted Living Facility with Some Odor Concerns"
The assisted living facility was spacious, attractive, and well-maintained. Residents and staff appeared cheerful and interacted with us during our visit. We arrived during lunch, witnessing a bustling atmosphere. The memory care section seemed sizable, though I can't recall the exact number of residents. However, there was a peculiar smell noticeable only in this area, which I couldn't identify—whether it was related to lunch, cleaning products, or something else like urine.
