"Mixed Changes at Assisted Living Facility"
I really like the place because of its location. It's great that they're making updates again this year. Recently, there have been some staff changes, but I think it will lead to better leadership and improvements. However, they did just raise the rent significantly at the start of 2024.

"Assisted Living Feels Like Home with Great Amenities"
It felt like home. They have different rooms for residents, like a game room with a pool table, a fireplace room with tables and a full kitchen, and a sunroom with nice couches and coffee tables overlooking the beautiful backyard.

"Positive Experience in Assisted Living Community"
The staff here are friendly, and maintenance is excellent. We haven't needed care or meals, but based on our experience, we'd recommend this place to other families.

"Mixed Billing Experience but Overall Recommend Huntington Place"
We can't say if it's worth the cost yet because we're still sorting out the bills. They sent a bill even before our loved one moved in. Despite this, based on our experience so far, we would suggest Huntington Place to other families.

"Improved Activities at Huntington Place!"
My mom lives in the memory care building, and for a while, there weren't many activities. But they hired a new staff member who now organizes activities, and things have improved. We really like Huntington Place and would recommend it to other families seeking out-of-home care.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
I'm not sure if you can see the notes from my family's search, but I have a Nursing Degree, so I kind of knew what to look for. In my opinion, they do provide care, but my dad's Alzheimer's is too advanced for them to give him the necessary care. I noticed a few HIPAA violations, and there were hardly any activities. It would have been more stressful for my mom and our family, even though he would have been much closer. Sorry to be so direct. I'm sure it's okay for some, but not for us.

"Affordable Assisted Living with Friendly Residents"
I chose this place because it's affordable and located in a great neighborhood. Unlike other options, they accept Medicaid. The residents are friendly, and my mom has made many good friends there.

"Communication Issues Mar Otherwise Great Assisted Living Facility"
The staff at Huntington Place have trouble communicating with each other. They don't seem to have a way to share information or pass messages along. Sometimes, there's no one at the front desk to take messages, and there are moments when nobody picks up the phone. I would recommend Huntington Place for someone who can manage on their own. It's a good place overall. However, as my family member's health got worse, we noticed more problems with communication and coordination. If they could improve that, I wouldn't have any complaints.

"Friendly place with airy apartments and outdoor seating"
The staff and residents are friendly. The one-bedroom apartment has big windows in the living room and bedroom, making it feel open and airy, unlike other assisted living places we visited. There's a large lobby with couches and a fireplace. There are also several balconies where you can sit outside.

"Comforting Care During Difficult Times"
I found it comforting to know that Mom could stay at Huntington Place for hospice care. I could visit whenever I wanted and they always answered my questions. During the pandemic, there weren't a lot of activities, but that's understandable. I would recommend Huntington Place to others. We chose it because my father-in-law was there years ago, and he had a good experience.

"Mixed Emotions About Difficult Transition at Assisted Living"
I'm not totally sure how I feel yet. The change has been pretty bumpy. I don't think they're doing as much as they promised to help her feel a part of the place. There have been some problems with the bills too. The place is neat, and looks like it's taken care of well, the workers are nice, and those things are great, it's just been a tough move.

"Lovely Community, But Too Large and Expensive"
We thought about this place for my Mom. It's a very nice community, and the staff were friendly, but it's pretty expensive. They offer different levels of care, so it's a big place. We wanted something smaller and more personal for Mom.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Good Care, Mostly Women, Improving Health"
My dad likes living there. It's nice, with mostly women. They take good care of him. He's getting better now. We were worried before. But now he knows he needs help. Huntington is helping him well. Overall, it's pretty good.
