"Nice place, but more activities needed for better social life"
The facility is nice and in a great location. However, I think my mom would do better with more activities and chances to socialize.

"Friendly staff and plenty of activities for everyone!"
The staff who gave us a tour of Luther Manor at River Oaks were really nice. They answered all my questions and were very helpful. They explained that there are many things for the residents to do. It’s a big community where people can meet and talk with each other. They also have lots of fun activities and keep up with cleaning and bathing schedules.

"Great Activities and Safe Bathrooms in a Wooded Setting"
The cost is more than we expected, and the bedrooms are small. However, there's a good selection of activities. The bathrooms have standard bathtubs, but residents don't use them due to safety concerns. Thankfully, there's a large shared bathroom with a walk-in tub and shower available for use. Plus, family members are encouraged to join residents on outings. The setting is pretty and wooded.

"Pricey assisted living with small bedrooms but lots of activities"
The price is a bit steep, and the bedrooms aren't too big. However, there's plenty of fun activities to choose from. The bathrooms have typical bathtubs, which aren't used much since they're not that safe for the residents. But, there's a big shared bathroom with a walk-in tub and shower that everyone can use. It's nice that family members can join in on trips with the residents. And, the place is located in a beautiful, tree-filled area.
