"Nice staff and good tour; family member wanted to be closer"
We had a good visit to this place for our family member. The staff were really friendly. Our loved one wanted to be nearer to family and friends.

"Good Staff, But Some Issues"
The toilet in my loved one's room kept getting clogged. The staff is really good, but they are overworked and there aren't enough of them. My loved one didn't like the food, and there was no activities director.

"Friendly staff, good place, but location made loved one move"
McFarland Villa is a really great place. The staff were all very nice and helpful, and they were really patient with my loved one. He didn’t want to live so far from his friends, so he moved. I would recommend this facility to others.

"Needs more staff but nice and good for mom"
This place is nice and has been great for my mom. She’s been much more social since moving in. However, they don’t have enough qualified staff, which affects other things. If they were fully staffed, I’d give them all 4’s or 5’s.

"Warm Atmosphere"
My aunt lives in this community and is doing really well. They make her feel comfortable and know her by name. The place is clean and well-organized. When I visit, the staff is friendly and respects her independence. They even put a monthly activities calendar in her room, although she hasn't participated yet. She enjoys meals with her friends in the dining room. I recommend this place because of its warm atmosphere.

"A Caring New Home for Mom"
Getting a referral to this lovely residence was exactly what we hoped for. The staff is kind, clean, and professional, and they really helped me, the daughter, understand the changes and adjustments this big life shift involves. It’s the first time for both me and my mom, who sadly can’t live alone anymore. She’s close by, so I can walk to visit her. I’m confident she’s well cared for. It’s been tough for her, especially in her first month there, and I’ve learned that anesthesia can really affect someone her age after surgery. I think more people should know about this. The staff works so hard, and I hope they’re rewarded fairly, even if they’re short-staffed. I’m very grateful they welcomed my mom into their family.

"Friendly Staff, Mixed Activities"
In the mornings on weekends and weekdays, there should be three Resident Assistants (RAs). Sometimes, I end up waiting for 30 minutes just to get up and get dressed. The activity schedule seems more like a suggestion; at least twice a week, the scheduled activities don't happen. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and attentive.

"Review of Harmony of McFarland in McFarland, Wisc."
This is one of the best places my loved one has stayed. The staff feels like part of our family. They have lots of events for families like luncheons, barbecues, and early holiday celebrations so we can also celebrate with our own families. The staff does everything they can to make residents feel at home. They give extra attention when needed. The food is excellent with a good variety, and they can make special meals if needed. The place is always clean.

Our family wants to say a big thank you to Harmony Assisted Living in McFarland and Southern Care Hospice for the recent care of our loved one. I played bingo with the residents and used my walker to exercise by walking the halls. The place felt very cozy and inviting. Everyone was really nice, way more than where I live now.

We are very happy that my mom is at Harmony of McFarland. The manager has been great at keeping us updated on her activities and well-being. The staff is warm and friendly. They really show they care about all the residents. Harmony is well-maintained and feels like home.

"Nice place, but ultimately not the right fit for us."
I felt it was a shame we didn’t choose this place; it came down to personal preference. My dad picked what he wanted. I really liked their common areas, but my father wouldn’t have used them. The space was very open and well organized. Our guide was fantastic. However, the owner kept selling after it was time to stop. The room size was a bit small, just over 300 square feet. It felt like the rooms were bedrooms and the common areas were the living spaces.

"Harmony of McFarland is truly better than the rest!"
Harmony of McFarland is truly better than the rest! They are always so helpful to residents and their families. On holidays, they hold special events for families and friends, like Christmas and the 4th of July. The staff is caring, and the place is always clean. The director is dedicated to both residents and staff.
