"Not Convinced About This Community"
I went to the assisted living facility and used their public restroom. It was pretty dirty, and the building looked old. The housekeeping could improve. On the bright side, the people I met were really nice, and they allow pets. They also seem to have some activities.

"93-Year-Old Respite Care"
They were really helpful for my 93-year-old mom. She stayed in respite care for eight days, which allowed me to attend my son's wedding in Palm Springs. They met all her needs except for one missed meal. I'd recommend this facility to others.

"Too Far and Not Lively Enough"
I visited Meadowmere Madison and found it wasn't the best fit for us. It was too far away, and the people there didn't seem very happy. There were a lot of empty rooms, and it was way out in the country with no easy way for residents to get around. The place was clean and fine overall, but it just didn't meet our needs.

"Friendly Staff and Fun Activities"
This place is really welcoming. The people who work here are super friendly and they really care about us. The food’s pretty good, especially the different kinds we get to try, but I wish we had more choices for dinner. Everything’s always clean and looking nice. There’s always something fun to do, and my folks join in when they feel like it. I think this place is worth it and I’d tell others they should check it out. It’d be cool if they told us where everything happens so more people can join in the fun. If you’re looking for a good spot for someone in your family, you should definitely visit this place.

"Additional costs and no transportation."
Cable is extra here, and they don't offer transportation. They start with a base price but add more for amenities. I recommend them if you don't need transportation.

"Review of Meadowmere Madison Assisted Living Great Outdoor Therapy"
Nice country setting with lots of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. It's really helpful to have physical therapy right here, so I can work on my exercises with expert help. Having therapy on-site means I get more exercise and the guidance I need to stay safe and avoid falls.

"Review of Meadowmere Madison Assisted Living - Madison, WI"
I have lived here for 3 months, after being in 8 other assisted living places. I was a teacher my whole life, even after I retired. The management listens to me, responds, and follows up. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. I believe this is where I'll stay.

"Kind Staff, Efficient Services, Adequate Apartments"
The staff here is super nice and gets things done quickly. They offer good services. The food is okay, not super exciting but it’s good for you. One thing that stood out to us when we were looking for a place to live was that this place was the only one that gave us all the information upfront, like how much it costs and what kind of care they provide. None of the other places did that. The apartments are just right for us, they fit all our stuff without any problems.

"Great place with caring staff and helpful temporary stay"
I loved this place. John and Marge are amazing and super helpful. Maria was very kind and took great care of my mom. If my mom needs assisted living later, this will be our top choice. The temporary stay helped my mom get better and see the place for future use. Thanks a lot!

"Quiet, comfortable, and clean with excellent care and activities."
Quiet and peaceful place. It feels very comfortable, clean, and homey. With 60 apartments, it offers a good range of options for different needs. The dining room is great with a daily salad bar and fresh fruit. Apartments range from studio to two bedrooms, and they all have nice kitchens and plenty of storage. The director knows a lot about caring for people at this stage and gave helpful advice. I was impressed with the staff’s dedication and their years of service. There’s a nurse available 40 hours a week, and they offer physical and occupational therapy. They have a full activity schedule with trips to places like grocery stores. They also have a plan to help new residents get used to their routine, with assistants helping with meals and activities. They carefully monitor food and drink intake, which is very reassuring. The facility is close to UW Hospital. The only downside is the lack of interaction with local schools and worship services, though there is a monthly Bible study and visitors from different faiths. I think Mom would fit in well and enjoy both the residents and staff.

"Clean, Convenient, But Disappointed with Staff Ignorance"
This place is pretty good. The apartments are nice, and the overall environment is pleasant. However, when I first arrived, the person at the front desk didn't pay attention to me, which was disappointing. They do accept COP and Care WI, which is good to know. Overall, it's clean and in a good location.

"Affordable but Limited Amenities"
The place costs $3000 a month for only two meals a day, shared laundry, and pretty nice but cramped apartments. They charge extra for anything else you might need. Transportation is only available through scheduled bus trips, so if you need to go to the doctor or want to go out on your own, you'll have to pay for a taxi.
