"Friendly staff but slow and unhelpful executive director"
I think the staff and residents are nice and helpful. However, the executive director is very slow to return phone calls and emails. You always have to try twice, and it still takes about 10 days to get a response. When you do get an answer, it's usually pretty generic and not very detailed. We chose this place because our mother liked the apartment and felt comfortable there.

"Happy residents and friendly staff at a good price"
I would recommend this place. The residents look happy, and most of the staff are friendly and care about them. I chose this community because of these reasons and also because of the price.

"Great care and comfort at Menomonee Place despite staffing issues"
My parents live in the independent section, so they don’t get daily one-on-one care, but when they need extra help, the staff is great. The meals and dining service were better before, but I think COVID messed with their staffing. My parents like living at Menomonee Place. They’re happy, feel safe, and are very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Menomonee Place.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Most of the staff are friendly, but they need more help. It's tough to get answers from the main office. The nurse is kind and responsive when she's around. Unfortunately, the dining program isn't good. Residents fill out menus, but the food they get doesn't match. It's often cold. On the bright side, the activity director is amazing, and my grandma enjoys the planned activities.

The place was very clean, and the staff was nice. They could do better at encouraging and involving the residents. We chose this community because it was open, we heard good things about it, and my loved one already knew some people here.

"Understaffed and outdated facility with overworked traveling nurse."
We visited this place for a tour. The tour was alright. The building seemed old, and they only had one traveling nurse who was doing everything. It didn't feel like they had enough staff around.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Disorganized Staff and Rising Costs"
I didn't really like it. We visited and the staff were nice, and we met a friendly lady who was helpful. But then she left and I had to talk to someone else she recommended. It took the place a long time to sort things out, and they seemed messy. When my parents were ready to move in, the rent had gone up a lot. We faced a lot of problems, and it just didn't feel right, so we decided not to go ahead with it.

"Good Community with Some Drawbacks"
I would recommend this place for other people's loved ones. The head nurse is very opinionated, and I don't like that. The administrator is very nice and gets back to the family quickly when there are any concerns. The maintenance team is great and handles requests right away.

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Basics"
The food is really bad, and it upsets my mom. There aren't many options. They struggle to keep staff. My mom's room hasn't been cleaned in two weeks because they didn't pay an invoice. The maintenance guy serves food due to staff shortages. It feels like they're cutting corners due to money problems. We're considering moving my mom. On the bright side, the staff is friendly, and she's made friends. But the basics—like food and maintenance—are lacking.

"Troubles with Staffing and Food Quality at Assisted Living Facility"
They're having a tough time with staffing right now. I'm not sure if that's normal or because of the pandemic. But there are concerns. They lost their cook and cleaning services. The manager is trying but can't seem to hire anyone. Hopefully, that will change soon. Some staff are great, but others overpromise and underdeliver. My loved one says the food isn't great—they just throw things together. I hope more workers will fix some of the problems.

"Friendly staff and nice setting, but communication issues noted"
The start here was great, but we had some problems later. Communication wasn't always good; we’d reach out and not get responses, but it might have been because of Covid. It's tough to judge because of the virus, but the staff were nice, and I’d recommend them to others. The place is pleasant and comfortable. We had to visit outside, and the setting was really nice.
