"Hope Amidst Change and Challenges at Milestone Assisted Living"
I don't have much to compare this to. My dad has finally settled in. The whole staff and management were replaced in about two months. No one told the families why. I believe that now that the temporary management team is gone and a new director is here, things like basic rules and trust between the staff, management, and residents will get better. We've seen a lot of residents and staff leave in the past year. If it wasn't for the fact that I live in the same town as Milestone and my dad is getting hospice care, we would have left too. I hope things are getting better. I'm glad there's a big effort to improve things, train more, update technology, and have more staff for the residents.

"Residents Enjoy Milestone Assisted Living"
We're impressed by the staff's hard work and recognize the challenges of their job. 'Just in time' care matters, but so does quality of life. Food isn't just about calories—it's also about social engagement and anticipation. Adding variety and improving presentation would be beneficial. Overall, I appreciate the residents at Milestone.

I think Milestone is very good. I'm happy with my loved one being there so far. It's a friendly and clean place. I think the staff are good with the patients. Most of the patients are at the same functioning level, which is good for my loved one socially, except for a few.

"Good Rooms, But Long Walks Are a Problem"
Our family took an in-person tour, and the rooms were great. However, the available room for our loved one was on the second floor. This wasn't suitable because our loved one has COPD. They would have to walk down a long hallway, use the elevator, and walk down another long hallway to get to the dining hall.
