"Disappointing Care and Poor Cleanliness at Facility"

They said they’d do a lot but didn’t do much. The sleeping areas and restrooms weren’t clean. The part of the building for people with memory issues had doors that set off a loud alarm every time they were used, which happened often. Talking with them was really bad. I pretty much couldn’t stand the place. I regret that we chose it for our family member.

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Care and Communication"

The assisted living facility didn't have enough staff, and my experience wasn't good. Some staff were nice, but others weren't. They had activities, but they didn't encourage my loved one to join. They need to communicate better with family members and provide updates on care.

"Memory care at Mission Creek lacks care and honesty. Avoid."

My family thought this place was okay if you don't need much help, but the part for people with memory problems was really bad. We felt like they were just trying to get someone to stay there without really caring about them. We think they lied to us. We wouldn't tell anyone to go to Mission Creek for memory care.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience with Staff and Management Issues"

The place wasn't great. The staff were nice but not well-trained and there weren't enough of them all the time. They also need more activities planned. It's sad. Plus, the leaders kept changing. My mom was only there for a short while, and already the managers and nurses were leaving. The nurse who checked my mom left after a week, and that caused a lot of problems because the care and services got disrupted, and they didn't tell us about the changes properly.

"Great personal care in a friendly, smaller community."

We really like that Mission Creek is a smaller community. We think this lets our loved one get more personal care. The staff has been friendly and helpful, and based on what we've seen so far, we would recommend Mission Creek to other families.

"Staff Shortages Affect Care Quality"

The staff was okay, but there weren't enough of them. They didn't seem very friendly and often talked to each other instead of helping residents. Cleanliness was decent. The director was really nice and often had to fill in for the staff, so she couldn't stay in her office to do her own work. I saw her serving food and doing other tasks just to keep things running. It was alright, but not great.

"Assisted Living Falls Short on Cleanliness and Activities"

My family member enjoys the food here. But, it's mostly been unpleasant. The room hardly ever gets cleaned. We've struggled to talk with the bosses about keeping it tidy. Plus, there aren't enough fun things to do regularly.

"Subpar Assisted Living"

Our family’s experience was terrible. We don’t recommend this place. The sales team paints a rosy picture, but caregivers are scarce, and the food is disappointing. Response times crawl, leaving our loved ones waiting for hours. It’s a constant concern for our family. .

"Decent Care with Staffing Challenges"

It's an okay place. Not too big. They struggle with staff. Sometimes wait times are long. People are friendly, but staffing varies week to week. Recent changes might help. Lots of activities. Could clean more in rooms. Overall, decent care.

""

My father’s recent stay at this assisted living facility was nothing short of a nightmare. The lack of staff presence during critical moments, especially in the memory care unit, was alarming. There were instances when he missed essential medications, and meal distribution was nonexistent. The staff’s unapologetic attitude and failure to address the situation prompted our swift departure. While staffing challenges exist everywhere, leaving vulnerable residents underserved is unacceptable

"Unsafe Assisted Living Community Neglects Residents"

I don't think you should choose this place for your loved one or anyone else. We felt it was not safe, and there weren't enough staff. Sometimes, the call lights for residents go unanswered for hours. It's really bad what they're doing to the people who live here. We moved our loved one out because we were worried.

"A Good Place with Some Covid Concerns and Caring Staff"

To other families, be ready for possible Covid outbreaks. We've had two in the last month. It’s not too dangerous, but they do go into lockdown for 7 days each time. I wish everyone was vaccinated, but not all are right now. They do have good safety rules: wearing masks, calling before visiting, and so on. I like the staff; they’re really accommodating. There was a time when we couldn’t reach anyone, and it was clear they were short-staffed. But we’ve had some good meetings with them, and they’re doing their best given the situation. I’m very happy with the activities they offer. We can take Mom out for lunch and other outings. I haven’t heard any other residents complain, only good things. The food is a bit bland, but I understand why. I’ve met the person in charge of healthcare and the overall manager, and I think they’re good and caring. Most of the staff are very caring and like my mom. For us, it has worked out well. I did check other places, and while this one is a bit more expensive, it’s still a good value.

"Friendly staff and accommodating community make for a great tour"

We toured this community and found it to be very nice. The tour was great, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and gave us plenty of information to think about. The community was really nice, and they were very accommodating to us.

"Small Community, Unclear Couples Discount"

The small community is good for memory care. The couples discount wasn't clear during the tour.

"Needs Better Management and Staffing"

I really hope the new bosses are doing better now. When my family was there, they had some big problems with the people in charge. The place is super pretty, and the workers seemed really nice. But the person running our unit? She was kinda unfriendly and didn’t chat much. It felt like she wasn’t the right person for the job. I didn’t even see her hang out with any of the folks living there. She didn’t bother to call me when someone took my family member’s stuff. They didn’t have enough people working there, either. I’d see people needing help, pressing their call buttons, and the workers were off somewhere else. And the top bosses? They never got in touch with us about anything. Not until we had already packed up and left.
