"Assisted Living Falls Short in Care Standards"
Mountain Terrace seems clean and nice, and everyone is friendly. But we had an issue with the care. They were supposed to check on my family member every 2-3 hours. However, when she fell, it took them over 12 hours to notice. This was really disappointing, especially considering the amount we were paying.

"Activities and Medication Costs Disappoint, Staff Mostly Friendly"
My husband needs lots of medicine every month, which costs about $100 extra. Most things they do here are for women, so he doesn't join in. He spends all day in his room because of that. The staff is usually nice though.

"Impressive Tour Experience"
I visited this place, and even though they couldn’t accommodate my mom, we were really impressed with the information they shared during the tour. Despite our unannounced visit and their full capacity, they kindly showed us around and patiently answered all our questions. The building was clean and smelled great – a big deal for us!

"They Took Time to Show Us Around and Answer Questions"
I visited this facility, and even though they were full and I couldn’t move my mom in, we were really impressed with the tour. Even though we came without an appointment and they were at full capacity, they took the time to show us around and spent about an hour answering all our questions. They were so kind. The building was clean and smelled nice (which is very important to us!). Overall, I was really impressed and wish I could move my mom in.

"Great tour, friendly staff, clean place"
I went on a tour here and it was wonderful. The staff was really nice and answered all my questions. The place was clean and I would recommend other families take a tour. My parents are moving in soon.

"Missed opportunities for interaction and engagement; room for improvement."
My husband stayed here briefly, but I wasn't very happy with how things went. He spent most of his time alone in his room without any interaction. I wish the staff had encouraged him to join in activities or eat in the dining room.

"Comfortable and Caring Community for Elderly Residents"
My mom is still getting used to living here, but I feel good about her being here. They take good care of her and meet her needs well. It's a safe place with a great staff who are very helpful. Communication with me is excellent, and they handle her medical needs well. She enjoys staying busy with their activities. This is the best community around, and I would recommend it.

"Great facility for mom but she's not ready to move."
We really liked this place. We talked to some residents and they had nice things to say. We think our mom would be happy here, especially since she can bring her cats and it's not too big. But she doesn't want to move right now. She thinks she can take care of herself and she's upset that we want her to leave her home. So, we're checking out other places.

"Comfort For Mom!!"
My mom is still getting used to the new place. The community stays really clean. The meals are a good size, and the chef makes them gluten-free for my mom. The facility manager is super nice and always gets things done. Mom is still getting used to having less privacy than at home.

"Mom Feels at Home"
My mom got a warm welcome at the place. They made her feel like she belonged. It was a bit hard at first, but they really supported her. The people there are super nice and always ready to assist. Mom really enjoys her time there. I can't find any faults; they're doing great!
