"Great experience with friendly staff and comfortable living at Oak Creek"
My loved one is really happy at Oak Creek. He enjoys his room a lot, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They made sure he understood everything he needed to know. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This place is really nice and cozy. People looked happy, and the one-bedroom apartments are adorable—just the right size, not too big. The staff, especially , is very friendly.

"Misleading promises and Unpredictable Management in Assisted Living Facility"
Putting mom in this place was the worst decision we ever made. They made it sound like paradise, but it was quite the opposite. It's like moving into a tiny room and losing all sense of yourself. There's no mental activity to keep her alert. They change their rules all the time. The care she gets changes from one moment to another, and that also affects the cost. The caregivers are from a temp agency, so we see different faces every day. The people running this place are unpredictable; you never can tell how they'll behave on any given day. Get out while you still have the chance!

"Spacious Living and Big Bathrooms!"
The one-bedroom our loved one has is super roomy, and the bathroom is even bigger than the one I have at home. We'd suggest this community to others.

"Receptionist Informs Niece of Aunt’s Death a Month Later"
When I called my aunt to wish her a Happy Thanksgiving and check if she got the flowers I sent, the receptionist told me she passed away about a month ago. They didn't tell me the exact date or cause. I live in Tennessee, I’ve been to the facility, and they have my contact details. This is how they let me know she's gone? Unreal! Good luck.

"Avoid Oak Creek Place: Poor Staffing, Communication, and Care Coordination"
My mom's been at Oak Creek Place since June 2018. But things changed after corporate switched. Now we're onto our third director and nurse. Communication is nonexistent. The place is always short-staffed. The food, according to Mom, is terrible. Recently, she needed hospice care from an outside place. But there's zero coordination between them and OCP. Meds and food aren't handled right. The aides aren't trained; they keep leaving. They're nice but seem lost without proper training. The only one keeping it together is the receptionist. She does everything from waiting tables to fixing TV issues. We're getting Mom out ASAP. Sadly, we need to wait 30 days, paying for an empty room. I wouldn't recommend Oak Creek Place right now.

"Disappointing Experience Leads to Better Care and Recovery"
My mom moved to a better place. The boss was too serious and not right for her job. The nurse didn’t do well and wasn’t friendly when we had questions. Mom didn’t like the food. Some helpers didn’t seem happy and weren’t nice. Only the receptionist, was helpful and caring. She did a lot for everyone but seemed overwhelmed. Mom got pneumonia because the nurse ignored her, so we had to take her to the emergency room. It cost $75,000, but she got better. We were scared we’d lose her. Then we found a great place, Brentwood Park Assisted Living in Franklin Wi. Mom is healthy and happy there.

"They cared for my mom well, even allowing cats."
My mom stayed there for 3 years. Each year, things improved with activities and staff. When my mom needed extra care beyond our plan, they provided it without worrying about the cost. Safety was their priority, and they even allowed cats, which comforted my mom.

"Youngest Resident at 65"
This place is really nice, and my dad is probably one of the youngest residents at 65. He likes his room and could bring his own furniture, so it feels more like home. They have lots of activities and trips for shopping and appointments. There's a nice courtyard to sit outside. I definitely recommend scheduling a tour to see the community yourself.

"Helpful Staff, Good Tour"
I have no complaints about my tour of this community for my loved one. The staff were on time for our appointment and made sure to meet our needs as best as they could during our visit. They had lots of great information to share and answered any questions we had in detail. It just wasn't the right location for us in the end.

"Comfortable Assisted Living Community with Supportive Staff and Clean Environment"
The people at this place are really nice. They've been helping my family member feel better about staying there. They even helped us find a chair and a TV for her room. If we have any problems, they listen and try to fix them. We can also bring food and eat with her in a cozy dining spot. Everything is neat, and the food is tasty.

"Far But Friendly: Nice Community, Helpful Staff, Far From Home"
The Oak Creek Place was a nice small community. They had a theater where the residents could watch movies together. The staff were all very friendly and answered all my questions. We didn't choose them because they were too far from our house.

"**"Adjusting Well"**"
They serve tasty meals. The staff and the new director seem really friendly. They recently got a van, but I'm not sure if they organize outings. When I arrived, I was surprised that the director and head nurse had resigned. Overall, things are going okay, and my loved one is fine with it.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs More Staff for Better Care"
The care took a while to sort out. Getting help with toileting, dressing, and bedtime was slow. At night, there weren't enough people to assist. It took too long for them to respond, sometimes up to 10 minutes. We've mentioned these issues, but they're slow to fix them. The food quality wasn't great; lots of complaints about blandness and taste. However, there are some improvements happening slowly. I believe hiring more staff would reduce wait times.

"Taking Great Care of My Parents"
My dad mostly uses a wheelchair and needs help with everything. The staff takes great care of him. My mom has dementia, and they also look after her well. They offer engaging activities, good church services, and excellent physical therapy. Oak Creek Place has been a positive experience, and I highly recommend it.

"Best Choice in South Milwaukee Oak Creek Area"
We had just one week to find an assisted living facility for our mother and toured many places. Oak Creek Place stood out as the BEST in the South Milwaukee Oak Creek area. Pam and Richard were extremely helpful, and our mom, who needs a high level of care right now, is adjusting well. The facility is absolutely lovely—every area was clean and neat, and the dining room is stunning. We’re hoping Mom becomes more active after being homebound for the past four years. I highly recommend Oak Creek Place.

"Terrible Living Facility With Rude Management and Insufficient Staffing"
This spot is terrible. They kept her in her room non-stop. They lacked enough personnel to watch over her, they made her go to the hospital but never returned her cash. While the workers and aides were friendly, the management was pretty rude. I would advise against ever choosing this place. We picked them since they were the most reactive initially. We ended up hiring an external service to attend to her round-the-clock due to a staffing shortage.

"Wonderful Care and Comfort at Oak Creek Place!"
My 97-year-old father-in-law just moved to Oak Creek Place. At first, he had a hard time getting used to the new routine, but the staff has really gone above and beyond to make him feel at home. Now he's happy there, and our family feels good knowing he's well taken care of.
