"Great pet-friendly facility with good care and friendly staff"
This place is perfect for my mom. I’d definitely recommend it. It was the only nearby option in her budget that allows pets. It's pricey but still cheaper than many senior living places. I like how they offer different levels of care, so she can stay there if she needs more help. The kitchen staff is great and always accommodating. Everyone is friendly and greets us with a smile.

"Caring Staff and Great Support Made a Tough Situation Better"
Even though my mother stayed here for a short time due to unexpected health problems, both she and I were very impressed with the care and help she got. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. My mother is quite fragile, so she really appreciated having the staff help her to meals and back to her room. The apartment was cleaned regularly, and the laundry was done promptly. When her health started to decline, they kept us informed and offered extra help. We were very grateful to everyone there from the front desk and administration to the wonderful staff. My mom was sad to leave, but she needed a nursing home because of her worsening health.

"Good Assisted Living, Terrible Dementia Care"
Assisted living was good with plenty of activities and such. I really didn't have a bunch of issues when he was in assisted living. But the dementia care was downright awful. They would lock the folks out of their rooms in the daytime. It was just problem after problem. They didn't control the flu virus, didn't put up any warnings or anything. If you're unsure about the care, trust your gut.

"Great Activities at a Clean but Older Facility"
We had a tough choice because both this place and another one were really good. Each had its own pros and cons. At the Terrace, they had many more trips outside, like going to baseball games. They offered more shopping and entertainment options. The facility was older, but it was extremely clean. Although everything was in good condition, it did look a bit outdated compared to the other place.

"Cleanliness and Food Quality Could Improve"
The shared spaces are tidy, and the cleaning crew does visit to tidy up the bathrooms and rooms. However, even after they've cleaned, the bathrooms don't seem as clean as they could be. There's some dirt left at the bottom of the baths. Just small things here and there that could be cleaner. The food sometimes lacks flavor; occasionally, the meals are bland, or they run out of one of the choices. They're not terrible, but there's room for improvement in some areas.

"Old Facility with Neat but Tiny Rooms"
It's an older facility with really tiny rooms, about 12x12. But, it was neat and tolerable besides that.

"Headline: Pros and Cons: Spacious Apartments and Care Levels, Tricky Layout, No Activities"
Pro: Roomy two-bedroom apartments with decent amenities in a pleasant Waukesha neighborhood boast two types of assisted living care. Con: The long hallways and elevators could be quite confusing, particularly because different types of care are provided in different parts of the building. It might be challenging for dad to operate a keyed elevator. I didn't observe any activities taking place during our morning visit and the atmosphere felt fairly cold and clinical. The estimated cost is about $7200 a month.
