"Friendly Staff and Recommendation"
We chose this place because the staff is kind. I'd recommend it to others.

"Assisted Living Needs Better Morning Care and Communication"
This place needs to pay more attention to residents in the morning. They should check if they have clean clothes, diapers, shoes, and their walkers. Also, they need to get better at returning calls.

"New facility with friendly staff and many activities."
It's a newer facility with friendly staff. They’re short on staff right now, so you might want to get extra help with care. Given the tough job market, I understand this issue. The facility offers many activities and a regular schedule. They go on outings once a month, like recent visits to the botanical gardens. Weekly activities include Bingo, Catholic services, crafting, and guest speakers. We were very grateful when they let my father bring his train set and set it up in a common area.

"Memory Care Unit Offers Good Food and Cozy Community"
My mom stayed in the memory care unit. It's worth checking out the other residents there. The rooms are a bit small, but the community layout is nice, and the food is good. Outdoor space is limited.

"Cozy Rooms, Friendly Staff, but Cold Meals at Oak Park"
Oak Park didn't take our insurance. Dad's room felt cramped. Staff was friendly. Sometimes Dad complained about chilly meals, brought from elsewhere.
