"Great Assisted Living with Nice Facilities!"
My mom has been at this place for 2 and a half months. Right now, she's on her third 10-day COVID isolation. The staff is friendly, but it seems like they change a lot. Each resident has a cleaning schedule, but sometimes it's not followed closely. When they have activities, a lot of people join in. The meals are okay—not great, not terrible. Moving in was easy, and they communicate well. The facilities are really good, with nice apartments, good lighting, and beautiful views.

"Needs Improvement: Care and Management Issues"
The place might look nice when you walk through, but the care isn’t good enough. I’m giving one star because some workers really try to show kindness and do their best. Sadly, a lot of them end up leaving because they’re not happy here. Another star goes to the folks who fix things around here; they’re always busy but still lend a hand. Now, for the not-so-good stuff: they don’t keep the rooms clean, clothes get mixed up in the laundry, and they mess up medicine sometimes. Things are pretty disorganized, and if you need physical therapy or other treatments, don’t count on getting help with that. They plan activities, but only people who can remember to go can join in. The food isn’t that great, especially if you have to eat certain kinds of food for your health. There aren’t enough workers, and that’s a problem, but it shouldn’t be an excuse for everything that goes wrong. The staff doesn’t really know what each person needs, so they make mistakes, and some can be serious. You can’t always find a nurse when you need one, and nobody seems to talk to each other properly here! The good thing is, the people living here are great at looking out for each other and helping out when they can.

"Mixed Feelings About Close-by Assisted Living: Staff Engagement Lacking"
We chose this community due to its proximity. The staff often don't greet us. His room should be cleaned more frequently. I understand it's memory care, and I wouldn't want their job, but we pay a lot for good care and not all employees seem to try their hardest. We were treated exceptionally well at Willow Lane; they were outstanding.

"Beautiful Place, Poor Services and Care"
The building is lovely, but their services were not up to par and they couldn't properly look after my family member. They didn't live up to their promises and I wouldn't suggest Oak Park Place Menasha to other people.

"Good tour, but staffing problems noted"
We took a good tour of Oak Park Place and almost chose it. But we hired an agency to check out the facilities, and they said there were major staffing problems at the time.

"Nice staff, small rooms; community worth considering for seniors."
We looked around this place online, and it seemed good. The workers were super nice and they helped us with everything we asked. But the rooms were kinda small, which wasn't exactly what we wanted.

"Changes Due to Pandemic; Nice Community, Food Concerns"
The community is nice. Since the pandemic, things changed a lot from when our loved one first moved in. It's starting to get back to normal now. It's a clean and pleasant place to live. My loved one had some issues with the food. There were a few changes in chefs.

"Avoid: Poor Service and Dilapidated Conditions at Senior Living Facility."
Just a heads up, don't leave your family members here. They'll show you a sleek space and make lots of assurances just to secure your approval, but the service they provide is pretty subpar. My grandfather was in their memory care unit and wasn't given the comfort he was purchasing. They ensured he ate, but that was the extent of their assistance. They never aided him with his hearing device, failed to launder his clothes, and let his bathroom remain grimy without ever coaxing him to leave his room. It was really heartbreaking. We moved him out and discovered a much warmer environment full of pleasant staff members at another place.

"Nice Place with Big Spaces and Hotel-Like Looks"
The place is in a good spot. It’s really big, like a giant hotel. It’s got a super big area for people with memory needs. But, you gotta walk a lot to get to where everyone hangs out.

"Great place with lovely apartments and caring staff; occasional staffing issues"
This is a really nice place with beautiful, roomy apartments. The staff is great, and there are lots of fun activities. The residents care for each other, and the food is good. My only worry is that sometimes they don’t have enough staff.

"Neglected Care and Oversights Lead to Tragedy at Facility"
While the facility itself was nice in appearance and the people working seemed pleasant, my mother did not get the necessary attention she required. The amount of care she paid for wasn't provided and didn't match what we were told during our initial visit. There was only one nurse available, and she was mostly off-site. My mom moved in on the third of the month but unfortunately passed away just weeks later, on the 19th. We begged the manager a week before her death to improve the quality of care. The center was inadequately staffed which led to neglect in areas like my mom's oxygen monitoring. Many times, we discovered her oxygen off for no apparent reason. The night she was found unresponsive, her oxygen supply had been removed. Someone should have been monitoring her. I can't recommend this facility to anyone.

"Neglectful Care Causes Heartbreak"
This place may look nice and the few staff members were nice, but my mom didn't get the care she deserved, or the care we were promised. There was just one nurse, and she wasn't even there a lot. My mom moved in on the 3rd and passed away on the 19th, and we begged the manager for better care a week before her death. This place didn't have enough staff, and people didn't pay close attention to my mom's oxygen. We found her many times without her oxygen for unknown reasons, and when she was found not awake, her oxygen had fallen off during the night. Someone should have been watching her. I would tell no one to go to this place.

"Nice Place, Needs More Staff Interaction"
I went on a nice tour of this place. It was for my mom to see if she’d like it here. The place looked really nice, but I didn’t get to meet many people who work here. Overall, it’s a pretty place for sure.

"Friendly and Cheerful Stay at Oak Park Place"
I stayed at Oak Park Place for two weeks. The staff was super friendly and always remembered my name. The place is bright and cheerful, with wide hallways that make it easy to walk around. The residents were nice, and the surroundings are beautiful. I would definitely stay there again.

"“No Full-Time Nurse or Visiting Specialists, Inexperienced Caregivers”"
They lack a full-time nurse. They don't offer visiting physical therapists or podiatrists. They're unskilled and many of their 'caregivers' lack experience! You'll need luck finding a good place!

"Helpful Staff, Facilities Not Fully Prepared for Mobility Issues"
I visited Oak Park Place Menasha. The guide showed me around. We saw bedrooms, dining area, and more. During the tour, my mom needed help walking, but they didn't have a chair ready for her.
